Objectives:
• To reduce wasting of time
• To reduce paper works
• To reduce effort of teachers
• To increase security
• To show results online from anywhere
• To simplify whole result management system

Introduction:
• We are introducing about a Student Result management system.
• The system will perform all kinds of operation automatically after the
admin/teacher input respective values.
• It becomes easy to handle result of all students.

Programing Language Uses
• PHP Platform:
PHP (recursive acronym for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-used open source general-
purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web development and can be embedded
into HTML
• Cascading Style Sheets (CSS):
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a
document written in a markup language.
• Hypertext Markup Language (HTML):
Hypertext Markup Language, a standardized system for tagging text files to achieve font, color,
graphic, and hyperlink effects on World Wide Web pages.

Development Tools:
• Net Beans IDE:
NetBeans is a software development platform written in Java. The NetBeans Platform allows applications to
be developed from a set of modular software components called modules. ... The NetBeans IDE is primarily
intended for development in Java, but also supports other languages, in particular PHP, C/C++ and HTML5.
• SQL Server Management Studio:
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) is a software application first launched with Microsoft SQL
Server2005 that is used for configuring, managing, and administering all components within Microsoft SQL
Server.
• XAMPP:
XAMPP is a free and open source cross-platform web server solution stack package developed by Apache
Friends, consisting mainly of the Apache HTTP Server, MariaDB database, and interpreters for scripts written
in the PHP and Perl programming languages.

Why SQL:
• More Strengths power rather then MySQL
• Ensure height Security rather then MySQL
• Support more feather rather then MySQL
• Latest version ability
(MySQL has the stable version of MySQL 5.6. Microsoft’s SQL Server is currently
available as SQL Server 2008 R2. SQL Server 2012.)

Requirement
• Hardware Requirement
• Processor: Pentium 3.0 GHz or higher
• RAM: 1024 Mb or more
• Hard Drive: 10GB or more

Authorizations
We may assign a user several forms of authorizations on parts of the
database.
• Authorization to view data.
• Authorization to insert new data.
• Authorization to update data.
• Authorization to delete data.

Authorization
In our project Authorization works as bellow:
• Admin can access four informative part from the database. (View data, Insert data,
Update data, Delete data) (50%)
• Teachers can access three types of authorization (View data, Insert data, Update
data) (23%)
• Student can access only one informative part from the database. (View data)(13%)

Admin Features
• A super user who enjoys all the facilities
• Add, Update ,Display, Delete Semesters
• Add, Update ,Display, Delete Subjects and their Full Marks.
• Create/Approve/Disapprove teacher/student account.
• View Results of each student and their Percentage.
• Update Records

Teacher Features
• Can view his/her account information
• Can register his/her courses
• Can insert student’s marks
• Can view all student’s results
• Can update student’s result

Student Features
• View his own account
• Can view their semester results for all Subjects from anywhere
around the globe.
• Generate/Download Report of all Results in printed copy
• Update Profile
• Update Password

Some Graphical View
User Account
There are three types of user admin, teacher, student respectively. Admin have
highest power to access all the functions of this website. Teachers have second
highest power to access functions .On the other hand, students can only access
few features was permitted by administrators.

Only the admins and teachers can see how many courses already exists in the database.

Teacher Course Registration
All kinds of users can access over this option. Admin or Teacher can register courses which he/she want to
take. On the other hand, student can register courses on which he want to study

Student Mark Input
Only the admin and teacher can insert student’s marks into the database. They can also edit
marks from database after saved marks into database.

View Result
The admin and teacher can show the result of the students and also can edit and delete
them. One other hand the student can only see his own result and can’t edit them

Conclusion:
• This software is very easy to use for all educational institute to the purpose of
result processing of students. So, we can hope that out website will be very
popular and get sponsors to develop in future.
