3. Introduction
It is good source of interactions among students and between the teacher and students. It is done in order to
improve student‘s comprehension levels and learning motivation. As one of their tools, online test tools are
quite effective. However, in order to use the online test tool, a teacher is generally required a great deal of
labor. For example, a teacher needs to create exams and input them in the online test tool. In order to solve
these problems, we have developed a Web-based online test system which can create examination
competitively and collaboratively by students for the purpose of reducing the load required for a teacher and
promoting interactions among students and between the teacher and students.

5. Purpose/Need of the System
The objective of the Online Examination System is to provide a system which
handles the records and details as well as maintain Exams on same portal. It
helps Students to attempt their exam in no time and get their results instantly
on the other endTeachers can also upload Exam by just uploading an excel file
and generate Reports of each and every subject Examination attempted by
students . Also teacher can export the reports easily by just clicking Export and
they can have the reports documented as well when needed.To manage all
this in the same place we needed a system rather then toggling though
multiple tabs in the Online platforms available.
6. Functional Requirements
Authorization should be separate for Admin(Teacher) and user(Student) login /Registration .
Historical Data management can be done by Admin
Admin can have the report of all the Exam Report and Student Records about progress and
attendance.
Each Student must login with their personal ID and passwords
Already attempted exam will instantly have results so students multiple attempt will be
recorded orTimedout Exam will get grayed so it can’t be attended twice
8. Scope of the System
The ultimate aim of this project is to help the exams analysis and facilitate the faculties the faculties for easy
evaluation of the students and generation of the automatic score cards.The system shall display the set of
questions with certain rules. It also displays the category for which the students wish to answer. Once the
student has completed choosing the category starts answering the questions.The mark is given and report is
generated based on the correct answers.
The scope of this project gives immense opportunity for the students to know their levels in exam instantly. It
provides effective software so as to help the students as well as the evaluators who are involved in evaluating
the student’s performance.

18. Future Scope of System
Future scope of this system is conversion from website to mobile app and software so it is easily accessible for its
user at any time. In future we can add some AI modules as advance for users to be proctored. We can add a
Customer support module can also be added to make sure that it’s user would get the support they need anytime.
One feedback can also be added for user’s to share their experience from particular owner to make sure good
service is served to users. We can add college logins so that different colleges can also register and make their
own Examination portal. We can add more features for Examination like long essay exams and add Image upload
option as well for Questions. We can add analytics representations for both student to check progress and
Teachers to check overall progress of particular Student or Class.
We can make our system more secure and make it possible to take records of everyting going on in it
19. Conclusion
All the required software and hardware are easily available in the market.
Hence the system is technically feasible.To conclude, this is a simple Online
Exam which able an admin to punch MCQ question to system which will be
store in SQL Server database and able the user to attempt any test.The score
of students will be calculated according to questions they attempt and will be
displayed by the system so that user can check their scores.
