1.Setup: Place the theodolite on a stable tripod and adjust the leveling screws to make
sure it is leveled. The bubble levels help you achieve this.

want to measure. The target can be a prism, staff, or any other object that can reflect or
be seen through the telescope.

between the reference point and the target.
4.Vertical Angle Measurement: Adjust the vertical circle on the side of the telescope to
measure the angle between the horizontal plane and the line of sight to the target.
By measuring both horizontal and vertical angles, a theodolite allows you to determine
precise positions, angles, and distances in surveying and engineering applications. It is
an essential tool for tasks such as setting out structures, conducting topographic
surveys, and establishing control points.
