Rail transport is one of the important modes of transport in India. Now a days we
see that there are railways that are present for the long as well as short distance
travelling which makes the life of the people easier. When compared to other
means of transport, a railway is the cheapest means of transport. The maintenance
of the railway database also plays a major role in the smooth running of this
system. The Online Train Ticket Management System will help in reserving the
tickets of the railways to travel from a particular source to the destination.

Topic: Requirement Engineering in Software Engineering
The document describes an e-ticketing project for online railway reservation. It includes sections on abstract, introduction, modules with examples and UML diagrams, and interfaces. The project aims to develop software for online railway ticket booking, reservation, cancellation and checking availability. It provides key features like booking tickets from home, payment options, and transaction security. UML diagrams like use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram and activity diagrams are used to model different aspects of the system.
A train ticket is a ticket issued by a railway operator that enables the bearer to travel on the operator's network or a partner's network. Tickets can authorize the bearer to travel a set itinerary at a specific time (common for long-distance railroads), a set itinerary at any time (common for commuter railroads), a set itinerary at multiple times, or an arbitrary itinerary at specific times. The last two categories are often called passes: the former is often sold as a discounted block of trips for commuters; the latter is often sold to vacationers, such as European Eurail passes.
In some countries, like Italy, and some local railways in Germany, conductors are not used. Instead passengers are expected to validate tickets in a special stamping machine before entering the train. A system of coupons that are validated with a special machine exists on the Mumbai Suburban Railway where combinations of coupons of different denominations are used to get the corresponding ticket value.[1] There may or may not be a conductor later on double-checking that correct tickets are actually held. Yet further systems are possible, for example in Japan, the London Underground and in local traffic in Stockholm, the platforms are physically blocked, forcing the acquisition of a ticket before entering the platform.
Some train tickets are available with an option to add bus travel at either end of the train ticketed journey, as part of a wider transport network. For instance, the PLUSBUS scheme in the United Kingdom offers bus travel on an integrated ticket for an additional fee.[2] In Germany, most long distance train tickets include a "city ticket" valid on the public transit system of origin and destination. This is automatically included at no extra charge in all tickets purchased by Bahn Card holders and is indicated on the ticket.[3]train ticket reservation in c.i hope it will be helpful. Railway Reservation System is a complex online distributed transaction application based on client server architecture. The salient features of the software include allowing user from anywhere to do a booking for a journey in any train in any class from anywhere to anywhere; handling reservation, modifications cancellation/refunds.

ONLINE BUS RESERVATION SYSTEM PROJECT REPORT.docx.docxKamal Acharya
The ticket machines would end the use of the hefty 1.5-kg ticket racks carried by conductors. It would also end the practice of tearing out tickets and marking fare stages. The Conductor would just have to key in the details about the fare stage and the ticket machine would print out the ticket. The machine weighs only 800 grams and is convenient to carry. The parameters are almost like that of a railway ticket, the only difference being that the machine is portable. The machine can print out 2,300 tickets, including the journey report in order to facilitate inspection by the corporation's checking inspectors. The ticket machines would help prevent loss on account of malpractice. It would also help in providing adequate data to the corporation, particularly with regard to the boarding of passengers from fare stages and important points. This would help the corporation prepare and organize its schedules more efficiently on the basis of traffic demand. Besides, it would provide data on concessions given to various sections. Another additional feature is that the data in the ticket machine could be fed into the computer. More over the depots of the corporation would be fully computerized so we want to add some other modules in our domain for depot’s verification.
Abstract Finding a parking space in most metropolitan areas, during the rush hours, is difficult for drivers. The problem arises from not knowing where is the empty space; even if it is known, many vehicles may pursue very limited parking spaces to cause serious traffic congestion. In this project, a prototype of smart parking (S-Park) system is designed and implemented that allows drivers to effectively find and reserve the empty parking spaces using an android application connected to Internet. By periodically polling the parking status from the sensor networks deployed in parking lots, the reservation status is affected by the change of physical parking status. The drivers are allowed to access the server on their Android smartphones. The proposed smart parking policy has the potential to solve the problems of parking systems, as well as reduce traffic congestion caused by parking searching thus making the system two-way efficient, that is, cost wise and time wise. Key Words: Smart parking system, Android based application, Embedded server, One time password.

Like the Spanish flu of 1918 that claimed millions of lives, the COVID-19 has caused the demise of thousands with China, Italy, Spain, USA and India having the highest statistics on infection and mortality rates. Regardless of existing sophisticated technologies and medical science, the spread has continued to surge high. With this COVID-19 Management System, organizations can respond virtually to the COVID-19 pandemic and protect, educate and care for citizens in the community in a quick and effective manner. This comprehensive solution not only helps in containing the virus but also proactively empowers both citizens and care providers to minimize the spread of the virus through targeted strategies and education.
Accident detection system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
The Rapid growth of technology and infrastructure has made our lives easier. The
advent of technology has also increased the traffic hazards and the road accidents take place
frequently which causes huge loss of life and property because of the poor emergency facilities.
Many lives could have been saved if emergency service could get accident information and
reach in time. Our project will provide an optimum solution to this draw back. A piezo electric
sensor can be used as a crash or rollover detector of the vehicle during and after a crash. With
signals from a piezo electric sensor, a severe accident can be recognized. According to this
project when a vehicle meets with an accident immediately piezo electric sensor will detect the
signal or if a car rolls over. Then with the help of GSM module and GPS module, the location
will be sent to the emergency contact. Then after conforming the location necessary action will
be taken. If the person meets with a small accident or if there is no serious threat to anyone’s
life, then the alert message can be terminated by the driver by a switch provided in order to
avoid wasting the valuable time of the medical rescue team.

Gas agency management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
The project entitled "Gas Agency" is done to make the manual process easier by making it a computerized system for billing and maintaining stock. The Gas Agencies get the order request through phone calls or by personal from their customers and deliver the gas cylinders to their address based on their demand and previous delivery date. This process is made computerized and the customer's name, address and stock details are stored in a database. Based on this the billing for a customer is made simple and easier, since a customer order for gas can be accepted only after completing a certain period from the previous delivery. This can be calculated and billed easily through this. There are two types of delivery like domestic purpose use delivery and commercial purpose use delivery. The bill rate and capacity differs for both. This can be easily maintained and charged accordingly.
Online aptitude test management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
The purpose of on-line aptitude test system is to take online test in an efficient manner and no time wasting for checking the paper. The main objective of on-line aptitude test system is to efficiently evaluate the candidate thoroughly through a fully automated system that not only saves lot of time but also gives fast results. For students they give papers according to their convenience and time and there is no need of using extra thing like paper, pen etc. This can be used in educational institutions as well as in corporate world. Can be used anywhere any time as it is a web based application (user Location doesn’t matter). No restriction that examiner has to be present when the candidate takes the test.
Every time when lecturers/professors need to conduct examinations they have to sit down think about the questions and then create a whole new set of questions for each and every exam. In some cases the professor may want to give an open book online exam that is the student can take the exam any time anywhere, but the student might have to answer the questions in a limited time period. The professor may want to change the sequence of questions for every student. The problem that a student has is whenever a date for the exam is declared the student has to take it and there is no way he can take it at some other time. This project will create an interface for the examiner to create and store questions in a repository. It will also create an interface for the student to take examinations at his convenience and the questions and/or exams may be timed. Thereby creating an application which can be used by examiners and examinee’s simultaneously.
Examination System is very useful for Teachers/Professors. As in the teaching profession, you are responsible for writing question papers. In the conventional method, you write the question paper on paper, keep question papers separate from answers and all this information you have to keep in a locker to avoid unauthorized access. Using the Examination System you can create a question paper and everything will be written to a single exam file in encrypted format. You can set the General and Administrator password to avoid unauthorized access to your question paper. Every time you start the examination, the program shuffles all the questions and selects them randomly from the database, which reduces the chances of memorizing the questions.

Paper Title
Particle Swarm Optimization–Long Short-Term Memory based Channel Estimation with Hybrid Beam Forming Power Transfer in WSN-IoT Applications
Authors
Reginald Jude Sixtus J and Tamilarasi Muthu, Puducherry Technological University, India
Abstract
Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) helps to overcome various difficulties in future technology wireless communications. NOMA, when utilized with millimeter wave multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems, channel estimation becomes extremely difficult. For reaping the benefits of the NOMA and mm-Wave combination, effective channel estimation is required. In this paper, we propose an enhanced particle swarm optimization based long short-term memory estimator network (PSOLSTMEstNet), which is a neural network model that can be employed to forecast the bandwidth required in the mm-Wave MIMO network. The prime advantage of the LSTM is that it has the capability of dynamically adapting to the functioning pattern of fluctuating channel state. The LSTM stage with adaptive coding and modulation enhances the BER.PSO algorithm is employed to optimize input weights of LSTM network. The modified algorithm splits the power by channel condition of every single user. Participants will be first sorted into distinct groups depending upon respective channel conditions, using a hybrid beamforming approach. The network characteristics are fine-estimated using PSO-LSTMEstNet after a rough approximation of channels parameters derived from the received data.

1. INTRODUCTION
This website has various kinds of information that helps regarding booking of
tickets via railways.
Users will be able to search the train availability, the exact fare, the arrival
and departure time of the train and they can also book the ticket by using the debit,
credit or master card and after booking the ticket if the user wants to cancel it then
they can easily do it also.
This system is designed to provide the facility where the customer can
easily book tickets online. The main advantage of this project is here
customer don’t have to stand in long queues for buying a ticket. Customer can
purchase ticket through online anytime. This Train Ticket Booking System is the
mini project developed using java and MySQL.
The customer needs to register to the website before booking train ticket.
Customer can book the ticket, view previous transaction, print ticket receipt after
the login. The passenger can select source location and destination location to
book the train ticket. While booking ticket the system asked payment card details
for transaction.
1.1 SURVEY
Railway passengers frequently need to know about their ticket reservation
status, ticket availability on a particular train or for a place, train arrival or
departure details, special trains etc. Customer information centers at the railway
stations are unable to serve such queries at peak periods.
The number of the reservation counters available to the passengers and customers
are very less.
3. 3 | P a g e
On most of the reservation systems there are long queues, so it takes a long
time for any individual to book the ticket.
As now there are no call centers facilities available to solve the queries of the
passengers.
The online railway ticket reservation system aims to develop a web
application which aims at providing trains details, trains availability, as well as the
facility to book ticket in online for customers.
So, we thought of developing a web-based application which would provide
the users all these facilities from his terminal only as well as help them in booking
their tickets.
We decided to give the name of the website “ONLINE TRAIN TICKET
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”. The online railway ticket reservation system is
developed using JSP.NET with Eclipse Jee 2018-2009 as the backend in the .NET
Framework.
1.2 OBJECTIVES
The objective of theonline railway ticketreservation system Projectis to
designsoftware to fully automate the process ofissuing a railway ticket.
That is:-
1.To search the trains it’s arrival and departure time, distance between source and
destination.
3.To check the availability of the ticket.
4. To calculate fare.
5.To book the ticket.
6.To cancel the ticket if necessary.
7.Passenger can check the history of booking by using their username and
Password.
8. A modern approach of booking.
9. Greater sales and marketing.
10. It will save time of the passengers as it is an online
application.
4. 4 | P a g e
1.3 ANALYSIS
Online railway ticket reservation is a online train ticket management
website, which is capable of booking ticket and search the train availability.
This website is mainly created to fulfill the following requirements, it
comprises of the following properties: -
o A central database that will store all information.

1.4 METHODOLOGY:
An important aspect of modeling is its role as a communication tool in
determining requirements. For users what they require, and whether the current
system satisfying their requirements. As we go through the project, we found out
train details, train timing, seat availability, booking history of the user. We visit
them in different time to book train tickets and check their availability, timing as
per requirements. Though all of the requirements are not same but we tried out to
make an interface among their requirements.

6.WORKING ENVIRONMENT
6.1 Introduction
Project environment represents a connection, where the project is processed.
It impacts the project and is, therefore, conditioned. Such an interaction is provided
by numerous factors as operational, physical, ecological, social, cultural,
economic, psychological, financial, organizational etc. The environment not only
formulates the project but also estimates it.
The project environment analysis is held at the beginning of the project. This
method identifies the lobbies and integrates the project stakeholders into project
group. All impact factors are analyzed in this analysis: project risks and chances,
stakeholders and their interests, measures for the control. The stakeholder type is
thereby analyzed. It distinguishes between active and passive type. The first group
represents project team and project manager, principal and customer. The second
group contains authorities, works council, competitors, persons affected by the
project indirectly.

• Eclipse is famous for java Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
TOMCAT
• It is an application server from the Apache Software Foundation that
executes java servlets and renders web pages that include java Server page
coding.
JSP
• JSP technology is used to create web application.
• Java Server Pages (JSP) is a server-side programming technology.
• Enables the creation of dynamic, platform-independent method for building
Web-based applications.
• A JSP page consists of HTML tags and JSP tags.
• It provides some additional features such as Expression Language, Custom
Tags, etc.
• The JSP pages are easier to maintain because we can separate designing and
development.
MYSQL
• Standard query language.
• Open Source Relational SQL Database Management System.

based software applications.
• It is very commonly used in conjunction with PHP scripts to create
powerful and dynamic server-side applications.
• MySQL is quicker than other databases so it can work well even with the
large data set.
• MySQL uses a standard form of the well-known SQL data language.
HTML
• Hyper Text Markup Language.
• Most widely used web language.
• HTML was created by Berners-Lee in 1991 .
• "HTML 2.0" was the first standard HTML specification which was
published in 1995.
• HTML was developed with the intent of defining the structure of documents
like headings, paragraphs, lists.
CSS
• CSS is used to design HTML tags.
• CSS is used to control the style of a web document in a simple and easy
way.
• CSS is the acronym for "Cascading Style Sheet”
7.SYSTEM ANALYSIS
Introduction
It is a process of collecting and interpreting facts, identifying the problems,
and decomposition of a system into its components.
System analysis is conducted for the purpose of studying a system or its parts in
order to identify its objectives. It is a problemsolving technique that improves the
12. 12 | P a g e
system and ensures that all the components of the system work efficiently to
accomplish their purpose.
7.1 DATA FLOW DIAGRAM
A data flow diagram is a way of representing a flow of data of a process or a
system. It provides information about the outputs of each entity and the process
itself.
Data flow diagram (LEVEL 0)
DFD Level 0 is also called a Context Diagram. It’s a basic overview of the whole
system or process being analyzed or modeled.

7.2 ENTITY RELATIONSHIP DIAGRAM
Entity relationship diagram displays the relationships of entity set stored in a
database. In other words, we can say that ER diagrams helps to explain the logical
structure of databases. This model is based on three basic concepts:
Entities
Entities are represented by means of rectangles. Rectangles are named with the
entity set they represent.
Attributes
Attributes are the properties of entities. Attributes are represented by means of
ellipses. Every ellipse represents one attribute and is directly connected to its entity
(rectangle).
Relationship
Relationships are represented by diamond-shaped box. Name of the
relationship is written inside the diamond-box. All the entities (rectangles)
participating in a relationship, are connected to it by a line.

10.CONCLUSION
Online train ticket management system was successfully designed and
developed as per the specifications. It was extensively tested using a database
which contains data similar to what can be expected in an actual database. The
system was found to work satisfactorily without any errors under all conditions.
30. 30 | P a g e
This system is designed to help the people to book train any time, cancel
ticket, check availability of train, print the ticket, and also can check the history to
ticket booking.
This project will help the passengers to save their time; they need not to go
to station for booking ticket or to check the availability. They can book or checkor
cancel them while sitting in the home.
