This document describes an online application for a college's training and placement cell (TPO) to manage student information for placement. The system allows students to submit information and CVs online and allows companies to interface with students. It stores student data and can generate student lists, profiles, notices, mailing lists, and results analysis. The system was developed using Java, HTML, and runs on Windows XP with minimum hardware specifications of an Intel processor, 512MB RAM, and 40GB hard disk. It aims to improve on the existing manual process of form filling, mark collection, and excel sheet preparation.

ABSTRACT ๏ƒ˜This project can be used as an application for the TPO(training and placement organisation) of the college to manage the student information with regards to placement. ๏ƒ˜ The system is an online application that can be accessed throughout the organization and outside as well with proper login provided.
INTRODUCTION ๏‚— TPOโ€™s have to collect the students information and their CV. ๏‚— This project is interface between students and Companies. ๏‚— It has to perform the operation of updating the marks of the students. ๏‚— It has provide java application for storing the information of the students.
SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS HARWARE SPECIFICATION The following hardware configurations were used in the development of the project. Processor : Intel p2 RAM : 512 MB Hard Disk : 40 GB Mouse : Optical Mouse
Software Specification The following software configurations were used in the development of the project. The Languages and Operating System used for developing this project are, Front-End :JAVA Back-End : HTML Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Version

ABSTRACT ๏ƒ˜This project can be used as an application for the TPO(training and placement organisation) of the college to manage the student information with regards to placement. ๏ƒ˜ The system is an online application that can be accessed throughout the organization and outside as well with proper login provided.

INTRODUCTION ๏‚— TPOโ€™s have to collect the students information and their CV. ๏‚— This project is interface between students and Companies. ๏‚— It has to perform the operation of updating the marks of the students. ๏‚— It has provide java application for storing the information of the students.
  • 4. SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS HARWARE SPECIFICATION The following hardware configurations were used in the development of the project. Processor : Intel p2 RAM : 512 MB Hard Disk : 40 GB Mouse : Optical Mouse
  • 5. Software Specification The following software configurations were used in the development of the project. The Languages and Operating System used for developing this project are, Front-End :JAVA Back-End : HTML Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Version
