How to Manage Reception Report in Odoo 17Celine George
A business may deal with both sales and purchases occasionally. They buy things from vendors and then sell them to their customers. Such dealings can be confusing at times. Because multiple clients may inquire about the same product at the same time, after purchasing those products, customers must be assigned to them. Odoo has a tool called Reception Report that can be used to complete this assignment. By enabling this, a reception report comes automatically after confirming a receipt, from which we can assign products to orders.

3. ABSTRACT
“ELECTRONIC STUDENTS COURSE REGISTRATION SYSTEM” is the
central part of the educational administration system, which consists of undergraduate
course registration, graduate course registration, retaking and retesting, dropping the
course in the middle phase and information exchange, etc. The Electronic Student
Course Registration System I’m Proposing is to simplify the current manual
procedure. This system will be developed using PHP, jQuery, Apache and MySQL.
The front-end is designed using PHP with excerpts of code written using jQuery and
back-end is designed and managed through MySQL. This system software is more
secured, user-friendly and less time-consuming.
Keywords: PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Apache, Database, Database Management
System, Front-end, Back-end.
4. INTRODUCTION
This Electronics Students Course Registration System is developed in favor of the
Higher Education (Universities, Colleges of Education, School of Health's, School of
Nursing, Polytechnics). It will help both the students and department from the manual
process which is very difficult to find the students course record both the one he/she
have done and not done, and keeping records of the outstanding courses to be done by
the student before awarding and confirmation of degree on students. The Electronic
student’s registration system allows students, through the internet to register, drop or
add courses within the registration period. The students are expected to go into a
cybercafé or any available internet facility and login to the school web site and register
courses for the semester/session
Identification of the problems of the existing Students Course Registration System
leads to the development of computerized solution that will be compatible to the
existing Course Registration with the solution which is more users friendly and more
GUI oriented. Which can improve the efficiency of the Course Registration Process in
tertiary institution, thus overcome the drawbacks of the existing systems (process).
ELESCORES will eliminates the need for paperwork that has to be filled-out and saved
for reference. This system will contain the home page (Index.php) where
Administrator, students and head of department can use to login.
ELESCORES will have four (4) modules which will include Administrator, Head of
Department, Student
Student module, every student’s will do their pre-registration (username and
password) with the administrator which they will use to login into their module. On
their module they will have access to course registration, add-drop courses and printing
of approved course registration pages. After student course registration and email will
be sent to the head of the student for approving of student course registration.
Head of the Department, every head of department will get username and password
from the administrator which he/she will use to login to his/her module. The head of
department will have the provision to setup courses for his/her department students to
register and view the list of all courses register by the student and approved the student
course registration in his department.
Administrator will have total access to all pages. Creation of account to new student
and head of department.
Faculty Officer: The faculty officers can have access to preview their department
students course registration, and update their matriculation number of their students
on their dashboard.
5. LITERATURE REVIEW
Electronic Students Course Registration System will be Developed using PHP
programming languages, which will have lots of codes, Using Internet in gathering
information partially will contribute to the success of this system.
Numbers of Electronics Course registration system documents were examining and
compare to the need of proposed Electronic student’s course registration system. For
instance, Elizade University Portal Course registration system, help in my initial
research of electronic student’s course registration system application.
Among other website that was used in my research is stackoverflow.com,
tutorialpoint.com It provided me with different codes which I will used in the
development of this program.
Using of textbooks and journal on the net was also a great source of information and
assistance in realizing the goal of this propose project. will be very helpful and
supportive in the product developing the pages of this project.
RESEARCH PROBLEM
Some of problems facing on the current course registration system are
i. Students submit a hardcopy of filled application form to the college/ university
ii. The existing system is a manually maintained system
iii. Students find it difficult to register their carryover courses
iv. Time taken to for course registration process.
v. Student course record keeping files.
vi. Lack of curriculum course setup by head of department
vii.None Display of Outstanding Courses to be done by the students
viii. There are lot strains on the Electronic Course Registration System due to the
manual processes presently in used.
ix. It is very difficult to maintain or update all the records and retrieve a certain
data
RESEARCH AIM
This proposed System “Electronic Students Course Registration System”. Will be a
web based system that will be used for maintaining the course records of student in
an organized manner and to replace old paper work system. This system aims at
automating the course registration process for smooth processing in carrying out their
course registration. Updating and modifications will be easily achievable. The
Proposed Elescores system will eliminate all the manual intervention and increase
the speed of the whole process.
6. RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
The current research aims at reducing the workload all the entities involved in the
registration procedure for the students. The current manual system faces different
challenges as to maintaining data of each student manually. Hard copy registers are
maintained currently to verify student details.
From students’ point of view, they have to fill the forms manually and then get them
verified from concerned officials, which is a very time consuming process.
The objectives of this proposed web application system are:
To computerize student and faculty database.
To maintain data consistency and integrity.
Automate the registration process without any physical human interaction
Making the registration process accessible anywhere to the students.
Allowing faculty to acknowledge registration requests from anywhere.
Allowing the head of department to setup course curriculum for students
Allowing head of department to preview students course registration before
approving them.
Display of Outstanding Courses to be done by the students
With the requirement of registration process for every semester, it becomes all the
more important to simplify a process which is highly repetitive. The achievement of
the above objectives can help the institution in managing the resources efficiently. The
automated process will lead to time saving and eradication of common errors.
RESEARCHMETHODOLOGY
The resource requirement that will be needed for this proposed system, Collection of
data through interviews staffs and faculty officer in some university course registration
in Nigeria, Questionnaire will be carried out from the students in some universities,

The ELESCORES System is easy to use, full-featured and flexible Student Course
Registration web portal. Students can get username and password once from
administrator and login online when and where is most convenient for them in just
a few minutes without having to manually fill-out and submit the paper forms. The
head of their department will get their courseregistration details of the student. This
system will be helpful in accessing the details of any students quickly.
Implementing the Electronics Student CourseRegistration System, the registration
procedure has been simplified. Previously student had to go door to door in order
to get the documents acknowledged from the concerned officials whereas the
currently developed system offers an efficient way to perform these operations. The
students can access the registration portal online either from a computer or a smart
phone, and fill the necessary information and submit it for further approval. This
web application provides us with ease ofaccess, userfriendliness and transparency.
On the other hand, from organizations viewpoint, it helps in maintaining
transparency, data consistency, data accessibility and easy maintenance.
Implementation of the proposed system will reduce the workload of all those
involved as the data can be now managed with proper authentication and
authorizations instead of being hard copied and accessible to everyone.
