This document presents a project on developing a website placement automation system. The system aims to simplify the placement activities of students and training and placement officers (TPO) by reducing manual work. It allows students to register, search for jobs, and apply online. TPOs can provide job details of placed students. The proposed system includes features like mail notification, digital notice board, news feed, discussion forum, and criteria-based job searches. It is intended to address limitations in the existing manual system like errors, limited student awareness and engagement, and lack of alumni records. The document describes the system modules, hardware and software requirements, and outlines the project's scope and limitations as well as future enhancements.
