The document investigates the behavior of stiffened and unstiffened concrete-filled double skin steel tubes through numerical modeling and analysis. A total of 28 specimens with varying parameters such as hollow ratio, thickness, height and stiffener configuration were modeled and analyzed. The results found that stiffeners increased the axial capacity of some specimens but decreased it for others, with the effect dependent on the hollow ratio, thickness, height and stiffener type and length.
