What is data literacy? Which organizations, and which workers in those organizations, need to be data-literate? There are seemingly hundreds of definitions of data literacy, along with almost as many opinions about how to achieve it.    In a broader perspective, companies must consider whether data literacy is an isolated goal or one component of a broader learning strategy to address skill deficits. How does data literacy compare to other types of skills or “literacy” such as business acumen?  This session will position data literacy in the context of other worker skills as a framework for understanding how and where it fits and how to advocate for its importance.
