3. Position Sheet, Trade Blotterand Trade View Nov,11 to Sep,13
The Position Sheet, Trade Blotter and Trade View is an all-new application
designed to replicate the core functionality of the existing PositionSheet, Trade
Blotter and TradeView, and deliver it via a lightweight Java web application using
the Google Web Toolkit (GWT). One of the problems with the existing PosSheet?
Is that it is a heavyweight Motif-based application running on London servers
and performance is not great, particularly for users outside London who have to
run it via Citrix across the WAN. The replacement application client runs in the
users' web browsers with a server running on the London hosts to provide the
data which should improve the overall user experience.

Integrated Finance Management System (IFMS) is a Web based Accounting
System used by Government of Gujarat. Every expenditure and receipt/revenue
incurred by Government/Government employees is logged by Government using
Bills (there are around 40 different kinds of bills) and Challans, respectively.
These bills are prepared by the authorized government personnel like Controlling
Officers, Drawing and Disbursement Officers, etc and sent to Treasury Offices of
the corresponding districts/regions for final approval of the Accountants, once
approved by whom the expenditure is accounted for the current financial year.
IFMS also takes into consideration the current year Budget.

IWDMS is a workflow based application suite for administration activities.
Budget is important and complex module of the same used for the budget
processing activities of the government. The solution is designed on MVC2
architecture, using JSP as View with the help of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
Internationalization features of Java are used to support user interface in
multiple languages. Servlet is used as Controller using Front Controller pattern.
Session beans and Entity Beans are used in the Model part using Business
Delegate, Session Façade and Service Locator Patterns. Value Object pattern and
DAO patterns are used to deal with data. The product is deployed on Oracle
Application Server 10g connecting to Oracle 10g database.
