TEMPORARY MARRIAGE (CONTRACT) CERTIFICATE
(Issued in the form of a booklet with following terms and conditions)
In view of opinion declared by the “Guardian Council” under number 1488 DD July 31,
1984, section 11502 holds valid all unofficial marriages and remarriages.
On the strength of Article 2 of the “Marriage Act” approved in August 1931, which has
been registered and included in the 1998 Registered Collection Acts, this temporary
marriage contract (certificate) is considered as an ordinary instrument and should the
couple reach an agreement, the marriage certificate may be officially registered at a
Marriage Registry Office following completion of relevant necessary forms and papers.

MARRIAGE PORTION: One volume of the Holy Koran and one gold coin to be paid to the wife on demand.
I, Ms. , do hereby confirm that there is no legal impediment (whether officially or according to the religious
common law) for my marriage and in case it is ever proved otherwise, I shall be held accountable and bear legal
consequences.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. The husband empowered the wife irrevocably , with the right of substitution(s), so as
to cause herself to be divorced whenever she decides to be separated on condition that she donates the husband the
amount of stipulated marriage portion. 2. The husband explicitly and fully empowered the clergyman in charge of
performing the temporary marriage so as to arrange separation formalities under any condition whenever the wife refers
to him (to the marriage formula pronouncer) to get divorced. 3. All legal consequences of this temporary marriage rests
with the couple and the clergy in charge of performing marriage formalities shall bear no responsibility in this regard.
