How Oracle connects over a network?
– Listener : An OS object through which
database can be connected in a network
– TNSListener , is a Oracle listener which
by default listens on port no 1521
– It can be configured using listener.ora file
located at C:app<user>product11.1.0db_1NETWORKADMIN
– Stores the server name, port no and database name.
– If it receives any request from the network , it checks the parameter
file , listener.ora whether the database is available or not . if available
it will help to create a session for the request.

CONCLUSION
• Practical Training is a very important part of the curriculum as
it strengthens the concepts and enhances knowledge about
the practical implementation of all the theory concepts, we
have learnt so far in different subjects.
• This summer training helped us learn a lot. In this training we
did the project on railway reservation system. This project is
used to keep a track on reserving the seat to the passenger. It
helps managing the system very efficiently and conveniently.

However, in practice, grid resources are not very easy to use for the end-users who have to learn how to generate security credentials, stage inputs and outputs, access grid-based schedulers, and install complex client software. There is an imminent need to provide transparent access to these resources so that the end-users are shielded from the complicated details, and free to concentrate on their domain science. ASRC Federal created the Mission Operator Assist (MOA) tool to extend human capabilities through AI/ML for NOAA. MOA ingests system log data from on-orbit satellite constellations and applies machine learning to greatly improve real-time situational awareness. MOA uses a collection of tools, including Kafka for multi-subscriber communications, all hosted through AWS Cloud Services and Kubernetes Containers for microservices. Like many traditional on-premises systems, satellite ground station operations are undergoing a renaissance as they increasingly become enabled by cloud. During this session, the audience will learn about the satellite communications chain, and best practices and lessons learned in creating a data pipeline with Kafka for high throughput and scalability while displaying high quality situational awareness to mission operators. We will discuss our goals centered around establishing event-driven streaming for satellite logs so our machine learning becomes real-time and supporting a multi-subscriber approach for various Kafka topics. Listeners will also learn how a multi-subscriber approach using Kafka, helped us auto scale logstash based on how many messages are in the queue and other microservices.

Mutation Testing for Task-Oriented Chatbots

Conversational agents, or chatbots, are increasingly used to access all sorts of services using natural language. While open-domain chatbots - like ChatGPT - can converse on any topic, task-oriented chatbots - the focus of this paper - are designed for specific tasks, like booking a flight, obtaining customer support, or setting an appointment. Like any other software, task-oriented chatbots need to be properly tested, usually by defining and executing test scenarios (i.e., sequences of user-chatbot interactions). However, there is currently a lack of methods to quantify the completeness and strength of such test scenarios, which can lead to low-quality tests, and hence to buggy chatbots. To fill this gap, we propose adapting mutation testing (MuT) for task-oriented chatbots. To this end, we introduce a set of mutation operators that emulate faults in chatbot designs, an architecture that enables MuT on chatbots built using heterogeneous technologies, and a practical realisation as an Eclipse plugin. Moreover, we evaluate the applicability, effectiveness and efficiency of our approach on open-source chatbots, with promising results.
