ratio which indirectly compromised the quality
performance. The type of education provided was mostly
for white-collar jobs hence deprived the country of
artisan who could have boosted local industries and
created self-employment.

The Non-governmental organization have played a significant role in
promoting democracy, advocating for human rights and providing
humanitarian relief.
In most cases NGOs adopted opposition as their strategy especially if there
is clear conflict between policy about to be implemented and interests
represented by NGOs.
They believed that outright opposition may be more likely to get results
than trying to collaborate and hoping for agreed modifications.
Usually they solicit for support from international organisations e.g.
Survival International, and this posed danger of different perceptions of an
issue from outside than within Botswana itself.
