The document discusses the design and analysis of sandwich pipes with different core shapes for use in transporting fluids at high pressures. Sandwich structures are designed with inner, outer, and core layers to provide high strength and stiffness while reducing weight. The study designs sandwich pipes with cylindrical and square copper core shapes using CAD software. Finite element analysis is performed in ANSYS to analyze stresses and deformations. Three-point bending tests show that the cylindrical core pipe has higher stiffness. Therefore, the cylindrical core shape provides better performance than the square core shape for sandwich pipes.
