Contestants.

Round One Winner Notification Process

The Round One Selected Contestants will be notified by Sponsor by October 8, 2010, and will be
required to respond (as directed) to the e-mail notification within 72 hours of attempted
notification. The failure to respond timely to the notification may result in forfeiture of the prize;
and, in such case, Sponsor may choose the next highest score from among the remaining eligible
scores. Unless restricted by law, each Selected Contestant may be required to sign and return the
following documents (“Documents”) for receipt by Cisco within the time set forth in the
Documents:

 Eligibility, Publicity and Liability Release

o NOTE: This document must be executed by Selected Contestant’s
parent/guardian on his/her behalf if Selected Contestant is a minor.

Selected Contestant’s full name, academy and hometown may be announced and posted on
www.academynetriders.com and any Cisco or partner affiliated web sites.
Should Round One Selected Contestant (or their parent/guardian, as applicable) be unwilling or
otherwise unable to provide such permissions and or Documents or otherwise cannot accept or
receive the prize for any reason, a Contestant with the next highest score will be chosen from the
remaining entries until one who is able to meet all requirements can be selected.

Once they have been confirmed, the Round One Selected Contestants will become a Round Two

The Round Two Exam is 100 questions and each question is valued at 1 point for a total of 100
points. The Round Two PT Activity Exam is 20 questions and each question is valued at 5 points
for a total of 100 points. The Round Two Exam and Round Two PT Activity Exam will be
automatically scored on the Competition Site. Scores will be tallied on the Competition Site and
automatically sent to the Competition judges for validation.
The Round Two Exam score and Round Two PT Activity Exam score will be added together to
reach an overall Performance Score.

Subject to the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, the qualifying Round Two

deemed the Selected Contestants and, subject to applicable terms and conditions, will be eligible
to compete as a Team in the Cisco Networking Academy NetRiders Asia Pacific International

must be 18 years of age by December 31, 2010. If one of the top three Selected Contestants does
not meet this age requirement, the next qualifying score will be selected.

Tie-Breaker Procedure

In the event of a tie in Performance Scores between two or more Contestants, judges will apply
the following tie-breaking criteria in the following order:

           1. The Contestant which reached the Exam score in the faster time will be deemed
the higher ranking Contestant as between tied Contestants; then
2. The Contestant with the higher PT Activity Exam score will be deemed the
higher ranking Contestant as between tied Contestants.

Winner Notification Process

Selected Contestants will be notified by the Competition organizers on October 20, 2010 and
each Selected Contestant will be required to respond (as directed) to the phone and/or e-mail
notification within 72 hours of attempted notification. The failure to respond timely to the
notification may result in forfeiture of the prize; and, in such case, Sponsor may choose the next
highest score from among the remaining eligible scores.

Cisco is entitled to announce publicly or post on any Cisco (including, without limitation, the
Competition Site www.academynetriders.com) the full name, academy name, and hometown of
each Selected Contestant.

academies. All travel costs associated with NetRiders International Competition on
October 28, 2010 are the responsibility of the Contestants. If a Selected Contestant is unable
to participate in or accept the opportunity to participate in the International Competition for any
reason, Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the Contestant and will select a Contestant
with the next highest score who meets all eligibility requirements to participate with the other

The Round Two Exam and Round Two PT Activity Exam will be automatically scored on the Competition Site. Scores will be tallied on the Competition Site and automatically sent to the Competition judges for validation. The Round Two Exam score and Round Two PT Activity Exam score will be added together to reach an overall Performance Score.
