The kiss (keep it s imple & smart) method to digital marketing successNuno Fraga Coelho
The document discusses adopting a "KISS" (Keep It Simple & Smart) approach to digital marketing. It argues that experts overcomplicate areas like SEO, social media marketing, and influencer outreach with excessive advice. The key is to focus on creating great content, which will naturally drive traffic, links, and engagement. For SEO, high-quality on-site content is more important than technical optimization tactics. For Facebook, posting engaging content will increase affinity and weight more than trying to "game" the algorithm. The document advocates keeping strategies simple rather than getting lost in complex details.
This document discusses how small businesses can analyze trends in their profit and loss (P&L) statements over multiple years using basic spreadsheet tools. It recommends comparing P&L line items as a percentage of total revenue each year to spot trends where costs are increasing or profits decreasing. An example shows costs increasing 51% over 4 years while revenue only increased 21%, indicating lost leverage. Digging into details can uncover why, like unnecessary added costs. Simple analytics of existing data can reveal hidden profits.

3 big mistakes professionals make when presenting financial or operational da...Dave Paradi
Professionals often make three big mistakes when presenting financial or operational data to executives. The first mistake is including spreadsheets on slides instead of using effective visuals. Spreadsheets are for calculations, not communication. The second mistake is not having clear messages in the presentation. Presentations should be well-structured to take executives from the current situation to the desired outcome. The third mistake is thinking executives love numbers as much as the presenters. Presentations should focus on insights executives can use, not just data. To avoid these mistakes, presenters should use visuals instead of spreadsheets, structure presentations clearly around a main message, and focus on insights rather than numbers alone.

Python is an interpreted, high-level, general-purpose programming language that is easy to learn and supports a wide variety of programming paradigms. It has a large standard library and is used for many types of applications. Python code is executed by an interpreter that translates Python code into bytecode that is run by the Python virtual machine. The most common way to run Python code is through Python scripts, but it can also be run interactively through the Python shell or within integrated development environments. Indentation through whitespace is significant in Python to denote code blocks rather than brackets or parentheses as in other languages.

Elasticity vs. State? Exploring Kafka Streams Cassandra State StoreScyllaDB
kafka-streams-cassandra-state-store' is a drop-in Kafka Streams State Store implementation that persists data to Apache Cassandra.
By moving the state to an external datastore the stateful streams app (from a deployment point of view) effectively becomes stateless. This greatly improves elasticity and allows for fluent CI/CD (rolling upgrades, security patching, pod eviction, ...).
It also can also help to reduce failure recovery and rebalancing downtimes, with demos showing sporty 100ms rebalancing downtimes for your stateful Kafka Streams application, no matter the size of the application’s state.
As a bonus accessing Cassandra State Stores via 'Interactive Queries' (e.g. exposing via REST API) is simple and efficient since there's no need for an RPC layer proxying and fanning out requests to all instances of your streams application.

This time, we're diving into the murky waters of the Fuxnet malware, a brainchild of the illustrious Blackjack hacking group.
Let's set the scene: Moscow, a city unsuspectingly going about its business, unaware that it's about to be the star of Blackjack's latest production. The method? Oh, nothing too fancy, just the classic "let's potentially disable sensor-gateways" move.
In a move of unparalleled transparency, Blackjack decides to broadcast their cyber conquests on ruexfil.com. Because nothing screams "covert operation" like a public display of your hacking prowess, complete with screenshots for the visually inclined.
Ah, but here's where the plot thickens: the initial claim of 2,659 sensor-gateways laid to waste? A slight exaggeration, it seems. The actual tally? A little over 500. It's akin to declaring world domination and then barely managing to annex your backyard.
For Blackjack, ever the dramatists, hint at a sequel, suggesting the JSON files were merely a teaser of the chaos yet to come. Because what's a cyberattack without a hint of sequel bait, teasing audiences with the promise of more digital destruction?

Conversational agents, or chatbots, are increasingly used to access all sorts of services using natural language. While open-domain chatbots - like ChatGPT - can converse on any topic, task-oriented chatbots - the focus of this paper - are designed for specific tasks, like booking a flight, obtaining customer support, or setting an appointment. Like any other software, task-oriented chatbots need to be properly tested, usually by defining and executing test scenarios (i.e., sequences of user-chatbot interactions). However, there is currently a lack of methods to quantify the completeness and strength of such test scenarios, which can lead to low-quality tests, and hence to buggy chatbots.
To fill this gap, we propose adapting mutation testing (MuT) for task-oriented chatbots. To this end, we introduce a set of mutation operators that emulate faults in chatbot designs, an architecture that enables MuT on chatbots built using heterogeneous technologies, and a practical realisation as an Eclipse plugin. Moreover, we evaluate the applicability, effectiveness and efficiency of our approach on open-source chatbots, with promising results.

Guidelines for Effective Data Visualization
1. DATA VISUALIZATION
Five Guidelines For Better Data Visualizations.
The five guidelines to be followed for a better data visualizations are as follows:
1. Show the data
2. Reduce the clutter
3. Integrate the graphics and text
4. Avoid the spaghetti chart
5. Start with gray
2. Five Guidelines For Better Data Visualizations.
Show the data :
The readers can only grasp our point, argument, or story if they see the
data. This doesn't mean that all the data must be shown, but it means
that we should highlight the values that are important to our argument.
Displaying too much of data may create too much of confusion or the
user may not be able to understand the graph at all.
3. Five Guidelines For Better Data Visualizations
Five Guidelines For Better Data Visualizations.
Show the data :
14. Why Data Visualization
1. Visual representation of data is better than numbers and texts.
2. Now that nearly 60% of businesses are using infographics, data visualization has
taken over the internet.
3. Amazon and other big-basket companies pay 10000000 of rupees to find visual
insights
4. Sports Analytical companies need visual experts
