Introduction
• A college enquiry chatbot is an AI-powered chatbot that can provide students with instant
answers to their inquiries about courses,admissions, fees,scholarships,and more.
• A college chatbot is like your virtual campus companion. It's a smart program designed to
help students navigate through various aspects of college life.From answering FAQs about
courses and schedules to offering support on campus resources, it's like having a helpful
friend in your pocket.

 LITERATURE SURVEY
• PAPER [1] : Manoj Sharma Proposed A College Enquiry Chatbot System
Which Has Been Built By Using Artificial Intelligence
Algorithms. The Bot Analyses Users Query And Understands User
Messages. The System Has Modules Like Online Chatbot.
• Paper [2] : Harsh Pawar , Proposed A Chatbot Is Designed By Them Using
Knowledge In Database. The Proposed System Has Online
Enquiry And Online Chatbot System. The Development Is Done
Using Various Programming Languages By Creating A User
Friendly Graphical Interface To Send And Receive Response.
• Paper [3] : Nitesh Thakur Proposed An Artificial Chatbot Using Nlp (Natural
Language Processing) Which Can Be Done In Two Ways The
First Via Written Text And The Second Is Via Verbal Or Voice
Communication.Written Communication Is Much Easier Than The
Verbal Communication.
 Existing system
In the earlier days students had to visit the college to enquire about details like courses ,fee
structure ,admission process and other information's about the college ,which is a tiresome
process as well as long process for both parents as well as students. Now a days there are
many changes occurred in the Education system with help of advanced technolog.
Everything is happening over the internet without any trouble. In those days for enquiring
about courses we have to visit the college, but as the days are passing away its completing
changing. Collecting the course details, fee structure manually will be hectic procedure and
it also needs a manpower.For reducing that manpower and avoid such difficulties and time
consuming many devices or systems were emerged day by day.

 Environmental impact
 Unfamiliarity with resources
 Limited access to data
 Inconsistency in data entry, room for errors, miskeying information
 System is dependent on good individuals
 Duplication of data entry
 Problem Definition
• Time-consuming: Collecting information manually involves visiting multiple sources such as college
websites, brochures, or contacting the college directly. This process can be time-consuming and
inefficient, especially when considering the vast amount of information available.
• Incomplete or outdated information: Manually gathered information may not always be
comprehensive or up-to-date. Colleges frequently update their programs, admission requirements, and
policies, making it challenging to ensure the accuracy of the data obtained manually.
• Environmental impact: Manually printing brochures and other materials can contribute to paper waste
and deforestation.
• Unfamiliarity with resources: Not everyone is aware of the available online resources and
databases, hindering their ability to utilize them effectively.
• Limited access to data: Not all students have equal access to reliable internet and resources, putting
them at a disadvantage in terms of information gathering.
• Inconsistency in data entry, room for errors, miskeying information: Inconsistent data entry can occur
due to errors such as mistyping or miskeying information. This leads to discrepancies in the data entered,
affecting the accuracy and reliability of the system. Measures such as implementing validation checks and
providing training can help mitigate these errors.
• System is dependent on good individuals: A system dependent on good individuals relies heavily on
competent and responsible users to operate effectively. These individuals must accurately input data, follow
procedures, and adhere to standards for the system to function optimally. Their actions directly impact the
system's performance and reliability.
• Duplication of data entry: Managing and updating duplicate data entries can become cumbersome and
prone to oversight, especially as the volume of data grows. Multiple copies of the same data can lead to
discrepancies and inconsistencies between different versions, making it challenging to maintain data integrity.
 Scope of the Project
• Career Guidance: Expanding to offer personalized career advice, industry insights, and internship
opportunities.
• Feedback Mechanisms: Implementing feedback loops for continuous improvement, learning from
user interactions to enhance future responses
• Visual Interaction: Integrating visual recognition for more natural and intuitive conversation
4.Proposed System
• Introduction Proposed System
A Student Chabot project could be a retrieval-based chatbot that uses AI concepts to possess conversations
with humans. Once ever a user asks any question, the bot can first analyze the request, builds a response
and send it back to the utilization. The chatbot can break down the user sentence into 2 things: intent and an
entity. A retrieval-based chatbot is one that functions are predefined input patterns and set responses. Once
the question is entered, the chatbot use a heuristic approach to deliver the suitable response. The retrieval-
based model is extensively used to design goal destined chatbots with bespoken options just like the flow
and tone of the bot to reinforce the client expertise. ChatBots use pattern matching to classify the text and
produce a suitable or best response for the clients. A customary structure of those patterns is “Artificial
Intelligence Markup Language” (AIML). The planned System could be a net application that has answers to
the queries provided by the scholar or the user. Users can just question through the chatbot that is used for
chatting.
 Advantage of proposed system
• Overall, a college enquiry chatbot powered by data science can provide many benefits to students and
staff alike. With its 24/7 availability, fast response times, and personalized recommendations, the
chatbot can improve the student experience and save time and resources for the college staff.
• The integration of chatbots in education offers benefits such as immediate assistance, quick access to
information, enhanced learning outcomes, and improved educational experiences.
• to improving the student experience, a college enquiry chatbot can also save time and resources for the
college staff. By automating the process of answering common inquiries, staff members can focus on
more complex tasks and provide better service to students who require additional assistance.
• The user does not have to personally go to the college for enquiry. The System analyses the question
and than answers to the user. The system answers to the query as if it is answered by the person. With
the help of artificial intelligence, the system answers the query asked by the students.
5.Methodology
The methodology for the market survey of the college chatbot involves a strategic approach
to assess its reception and potential demand within the academic community. Through a
well structured survey targeting students, educators, and administrators, the study aims to
uncover preferences, concerns, and expectations regarding an AI-powered virtual assistant
for academic support and campus navigation. Leveraging diverse distribution channels and
analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data, the survey seeks to provide valuable
insights. The findings will guide the iterative refinement of the college chatbot, ensuring that
it aligns with the diverse requirements of users and becomes a widely embraced solution in
the realm of higher education.

 Hardware Requirement
• CPU: At least a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 2.5 GHz or higher.
• RAM: Minimum of 8 GB of RAM 16 GB or more.
• Bandwidth: The amount of bandwidth required will depend on the
expected traffic to the website. A minimum of 1 Gbps dedicated bandwidth is
recommended for high-traffic sites.

The Bot Analyses Users Query And Understands User Messages. The System Has Modules Like Online Chatbot. • Paper [2] : Harsh Pawar , Proposed A Chatbot Is Designed By Them Using Knowledge In Database. The Proposed System Has Online Enquiry And Online Chatbot System. The Development Is Done Using Various Programming Languages By Creating A User Friendly Graphical Interface To Send And Receive Response. • Paper [3] : Nitesh Thakur Proposed An Artificial Chatbot Using Nlp (Natural Language Processing) Which Can Be Done In Two Ways The First Via Written Text And The Second Is Via Verbal Or Voice Communication.Written Communication Is Much Easier Than The Verbal Communication.
  • 4.  Existing system In the earlier days students had to visit the college to enquire about details like courses ,fee structure ,admission process and other information's about the college ,which is a tiresome process as well as long process for both parents as well as students. Now a days there are many changes occurred in the Education system with help of advanced technolog. Everything is happening over the internet without any trouble. In those days for enquiring about courses we have to visit the college, but as the days are passing away its completing changing. Collecting the course details, fee structure manually will be hectic procedure and it also needs a manpower.For reducing that manpower and avoid such difficulties and time consuming many devices or systems were emerged day by day.

Once ever a user asks any question, the bot can first analyze the request, builds a response and send it back to the utilization. The chatbot can break down the user sentence into 2 things: intent and an entity. A retrieval-based chatbot is one that functions are predefined input patterns and set responses. Once the question is entered, the chatbot use a heuristic approach to deliver the suitable response. The retrieval- based model is extensively used to design goal destined chatbots with bespoken options just like the flow and tone of the bot to reinforce the client expertise. ChatBots use pattern matching to classify the text and produce a suitable or best response for the clients. A customary structure of those patterns is “Artificial Intelligence Markup Language” (AIML). The planned System could be a net application that has answers to the queries provided by the scholar or the user. Users can just question through the chatbot that is used for chatting.

With the help of artificial intelligence, the system answers the query asked by the students.
