1) Students receiving financial aid must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards including maintaining a minimum GPA, completing a certain percentage of attempted units, and completing their degree within a maximum time frame. 2) Beginning in Fall 2016, SAP will be checked after every term and students who do not meet the standards will be placed on a warning status for one term before becoming ineligible for aid. 3) Students who do not meet SAP standards can appeal and have their eligibility reinstated by submitting an appeal form providing documentation of an extenuating circumstance beyond their control that affected their academic performance.
