Man must learn to detach from worldly success and material goods attained by success, and instead use money and goods to benefit others. Building a spiritual plan involves becoming intentional with finances through tithing, increasing prayer and charity, and establishing supportive relationships. Finances should foster communion with God and others, not selfishness, and can be evaluated through questions on spending habits and generosity.

The goal is to develop purity of heart in order to see God and be part of the 144,000.
The author asks "Why me?" in response to enduring chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and other personal hardships. While reading the Old Testament, the author finds comfort knowing that even biblical heroes faced discouragement in their trials. Though some trials strengthened individuals and pointed to God, all reflected God's faithfulness as the heroes continued walking by faith. The author's hardships have made them long to trust and rest in God's plan despite unanswered questions, taking comfort that God remains present, even in darkness.
This document discusses living in divine prosperity through commitment to God over the world. It argues that many Christians try to live by both God's and the world's systems, but this does not work as you cannot serve two masters. To receive God's blessings of prosperity, one must fully commit to God and his word over listening to the ways of the world. God wants his people to be free from financial bondage and hardship.

Josh McDowell was seeking meaning, purpose, happiness and freedom in life. He explored religion, education and prestige but did not find what he was looking for. He was intrigued by a group of Christian students who seemed different. They challenged him to examine the evidence for Christianity intellectually. Through his research, McDowell concluded that the New Testament documents were historically reliable and that the resurrection of Jesus was well-established. However, becoming a Christian challenged his ego and will. After much struggle, on December 19, 1959 McDowell prayed to accept Jesus Christ as his savior and lord, though he initially felt sick to his stomach with doubt about his decision.
The document discusses making the right choices in life by relying on supernatural rather than natural means. It argues that circumstances are determined by choices, not luck, and that believers have access to God's supernatural power and wisdom through faith and living according to His Word. It provides examples of how immersing oneself in scripture can transform one's thinking and lead to better decisions. The key message is that by making choices guided by the Holy Spirit and God's Word instead of natural reasoning alone, believers can overcome problems that lack earthly solutions.

Decolonizing Universal Design for LearningFrederic Fovet
UDL has gained in popularity over the last decade both in the K-12 and the post-secondary sectors. The usefulness of UDL to create inclusive learning experiences for the full array of diverse learners has been well documented in the literature, and there is now increasing scholarship examining the process of integrating UDL strategically across organisations. One concern, however, remains under-reported and under-researched. Much of the scholarship on UDL ironically remains while and Eurocentric. Even if UDL, as a discourse, considers the decolonization of the curriculum, it is abundantly clear that the research and advocacy related to UDL originates almost exclusively from the Global North and from a Euro-Caucasian authorship. It is argued that it is high time for the way UDL has been monopolized by Global North scholars and practitioners to be challenged. Voices discussing and framing UDL, from the Global South and Indigenous communities, must be amplified and showcased in order to rectify this glaring imbalance and contradiction.
This session represents an opportunity for the author to reflect on a volume he has just finished editing entitled Decolonizing UDL and to highlight and share insights into the key innovations, promising practices, and calls for change, originating from the Global South and Indigenous Communities, that have woven the canvas of this book. The session seeks to create a space for critical dialogue, for the challenging of existing power dynamics within the UDL scholarship, and for the emergence of transformative voices from underrepresented communities. The workshop will use the UDL principles scrupulously to engage participants in diverse ways (challenging single story approaches to the narrative that surrounds UDL implementation) , as well as offer multiple means of action and expression for them to gain ownership over the key themes and concerns of the session (by encouraging a broad range of interventions, contributions, and stances).

3. As I am making this presentation (November 2014), I am
raking in success like never before. It is coming so easily.
But as I surveyed everything that I have done, in my
heart, the most satisfying part is having that platform to
influence people and transform their lives. It’s like
planting seeds in people’s hearts and I’ll never know the
extent to where my effort went until God would tell me
when we meet.
More so, as I wrote in my Facebook status update years
ago, “I want to be so successful that I will have a
platform to tell the whole world about Jesus!” Jesus
never promised that you will be materially rich. In fact,
He even said, “Take up your cross and follow Me. (Matt
6: 24)” But he also said , “I have come that they may
have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10)”
I can make a whole powerpoint presentation just with
those two verses. But for now, I will focus on how to
pick up yourself from coming from having nothing.
My Platform
4. 10 Years Ago
Ten years ago, I was a wreck. I was fuming mad at a lot of
the people around me, and I said to myself that I will show
all of you that what you did to me was wrong. Before I
would go to presentations , I would literally shake my head
because I was so depressed. Everywhere I go, people
would tell me that I have great potential, but I had the
wrong motives.
With all my might, I strived to succeed, but to no avail.
Then one day, I had a chat with the top agent of my
former insurance company. Seeing my desperation, she
said, “You know, you are just okay. You just don’t have
God in your life.”
Upon hearing that, I broke down and cried. I instantly embraced my new faith and
absorbed the teachings of the bible like a sponge. I heard about people getting
breakthroughs, and I really thought that I will soon get rich. Though I healed so much,
the next 10 years would prove to be very difficult.
5. Uphill Climb
If money will be the ultimate measure of success, I
would be considered mediocre. I have investments
and savings, but if you will sum up all the sacrifices
and efforts that I made, a lot would question if what
I did was worth it. Ten years is no joke.
In a world that clamors for get rich quick schemes,
my message would be very unpopular.
For 10 years, I studied the bible, strived to do well in
my career, sought healing, and what do I get: a
solid foundation and a very well -tilled soil for
success. There are a lot of times when I would ask
God if my life would ever amount to something.
There was no money or awards coming in, but I
really saw how God worked on my foundation.
In this presentation, I will speaking about principles
about building a life with the help of God and with
God as it’s foundation.
6. The Pause Button
As I share personal experiences in my powerpoint
presentations, let it be clear that it’s not to exalt myself.
Rather, I would like to point out that through the years of
hardships, I was able to read a lot of books and was able to
talk to a lot of people about healing, building on your life
and healing familial relationships.
Years ago, I was able to attend a seminar called Ancient Paths. It aims to release people
from generational curses or destructive relationship patterns that are passed on from
one generation to another. As a financial planner, it is so interesting to know how much
money becomes a major if not central issue in familial relationships. It also teaches
about long lost traditions that have been proven to lead to life of blessedness.
Looking back at those 10 years that have passed, I think that it was a blessing after all
that no matter what I do, I was rarely busy. I spent so much time at home just pondering,
reading books and writing. It was also a big blessing that one of the facilitator of Ancient
Paths told me that I will be the transitional person in the family, and I have held that
blessing in my heart ever since. But I would have to say that it takes a lot of boldness
even to reconsider things when most of the people around you think a certain way. I
would have to say that the implementation of changes is so painful, so be firm in this.
7. Isaiah 61
This is my super favorite of all bible passages. I also consider it as my personal mission
statement, especially in my work. This shows the mission statement of the awesome
God that we serve. In Luke 4, it says about how this prophesy was fulfilled by Jesus
Christ.
And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up.
And uas was his custom, vhe went to the synagogue on the
Sabbath day, and he stood up wto read. 17 And xthe scroll of
the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll
and found the place where it was written,
18 y“The Spirit of the Lord zis upon me,
because he has anointed me
to aproclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted.
To proclaim liberty to the captives
and crecovering of sight to the blind,
dto set at liberty those who are oppressed,
19 eto proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and fsat down. And the eyes
of all in the synagogue were gfixed on him. 21 And he began to say to them, “Today hthis
Scripture ihas been fulfilled in your hearing.”
8. Isaiah 61 Continued…
To comfort all who mourn, and
provide for those who grieve
in Zion—to bestow on them a
crown of beauty instead of
ashes, the oil of joy instead of
mourning, and a garment of
praise instead of a spirit of
despair. They will be called oaks
of righteousness, a planting of
the LORD for the display of his
splendor.
9. They will rebuild the
ancient ruins
and restore the places
long devastated;
they will renew the
ruined cities
that have been
devastated for
generation
10. Strangers will shepherd
your flocks;
foreigners will work your
fields and vineyards.
And you will be called
priests of the LORD,
you will be named
ministers of our God.
You will feed on the
wealth of nations, and in
their riches you will boast.
11. .
Instead of your shame
you will receive a double
portion,
and instead of disgrace
you will rejoice in your
inheritance.
And so you will inherit a
double portion in your
land,
and everlasting joy will be
yours.
12. For I, the LORD, love
justice;
I hate robbery and
wrongdoing.
In my faithfulness I
will reward my
people and make an
everlasting covenant
with them.
13. Their descendants will
be known among the
nations and their
offspring among the
peoples.
All who see them will
acknowledge that
they are a people the
LORD has blessed.
14. Man’s Search for Meaning
By Viktor Frankl
In September 1942, Viktor Frankl, a prominent Jewish
psychiatrist and neurologist in Vienna, was arrested
and transported to a Nazi concentration camp with
his wife and parents.
Three years later, when his camp was liberated, most
of his family, including his pregnant wife, had
perished -- but he, prisoner number 119104, had
lived.
In his bestselling 1946 book, Man's Search for Meaning, which he wrote in nine days
about his experiences in the camps, Frankl concluded that the difference between those
who had lived and those who had died came down to one thing: Meaning, an insight he
came to early in life. When he was a high school student, one of his science teachers
declared to the class, "Life is nothing more than a combustion process, a process of
oxidation." Frankl jumped out of his chair and responded, "Sir, if this is so, then what can
be the meaning of life?“

survivor-2014-10
15. Concentration Camp Experiences
The whole book is really worth reading.
He even cited that despite their situation,
some men would even offer his last piece of
bread to their fellow prisoner.
In page 99, he said: “ When we spoke about attempts to give a man in camp mental
courage, we said that he had to be shown something to look forward to in the future.
He had to be reminded that life still waited for him, that a human being waited for
his return. But after liberation? There were some men who found that no one
awaited them. Woe to him who found that the person in memory alone had given
him courage did in camp did not exist anymore.”
“We all said to each other that in camp that there could be no earthly happiness
which would compensate for all we had suffered…”
16. Logotherapy
Logotheraphy is a brand of psychiatry founded
by Frankl. It defocuses all the vicious-circle
formations and feedback mechanism which
play a great role in the development of
neuroses. The typical self-centeredness of the
neurotic is broken up instead of being
continually fostered and reinforced.
Instead of focusing on the past, it focuses on
the future.
According to Logotherapy, this striving to find a meaning in one’s life is the primary
motivational force in man. This meaning is unique and specific in that it must and
can be fulfilled by man alone. Thus, man is able to live and even die for the sake of
his ideals and values.
What man actually needs is not a tensionless state, but rather the striving and
struggling for a worthwhile goal, a freely chosen task.
17. Existential Vacuum
According to Frankl, the existential vacuum is a
condition where men are not able to find meaning in
life. He said that this is one of the root causes of
neuroses and addictions.
It manifests itself in boredom. “Sunday Neuroses” is that
kind of depression which afflicts people who are aware
of the lack of content in their lives when the rush of a
busy week is over and the void within themselves
become manifest.
Moreover, there are various masks and guises under which the existential vacuum appears.
Sometimes the frustrated will to meaning is vicarious compensated for by a will to power,
including the most primitive form of will to power, the will to money. In other cases, the
place of frustrated will to meaning is taken by the will to pleasure. We can observe in such
cases that the sexual libido becomes rampant in the existential vacuum.
18. Hell In The Mind
By Ed Lapiz
Pastor Ed Lapiz started his preaching by citing Luke 17:
20-21 – “ The Kingdom of God does not come with your
careful observation, nor will people say, here it is or
there it is, because the Kingdom of God is within you.”
Thus, the Kingdom of God that reigns in the heart of
men bring peace. And the hell in the mind is a
manifestation of the absence of the Kingdom of God. It
is characterized by:
• Constant Fear
• Trouble/Lack of Peace
• Meaninglessness/Constant Boredom
• Anger
• Constant Misery, Loneliness and Sadness
For the complete audio file of this preaching, you can turn to this link:

He also gives suggestions on how you can overcome this situation.
19. Ground Zero is not just about money.
For me, the hardest part in dealing
with Ground Zero is the relational
strains.
It is quite difficult to imagine having
a happy family without money, or
not having money and having no
relational strains resulting from it.
This is also why the rags to riches
people, despite having money
continue to live a dysfunctional life.
Unless they are healed from their
emotional wounds, they end up
with dysfunctional relationships
with the people around them.
Before you plant anything,
you must first “ make araro”.
It is difficult to have
abundance in a field full of
weeds.
20. SURVIVING CALAMITIES
Walang, walang wala na nga, tinamaan
pa ng calmidad
NINAKAWAN PA!!!
This is the very sad fate of
most poor people. They are
unable to uplift themselves
because of the lack of
education. For me,
prolonged poverty is mostly
just IGNORANCE.
21. How do you even rise when you’ve
been down for so long?
How do you even dream to be the transitional
person in a family that has been cursed for
generations?
They will rebuild the ancient
ruins and restore the places
long devastated; they will
renew the ruined cities that
have been devastated for
generation
22. King David
Most of the great men in the bible came from
ground zero. Before David became king, he
had this experience.
1 Samuel 22: 1-2
David left Gath and escaped to the cave of
Adullam. When his brothers and his father's
household heard about it , they went down to
him there.
And everyone who was in distress, and
everyone who was in debt, and everyone who
was bitter in soul, gathered to him. And he
became commander over them. And there
were with him about four hundred men.
23. Joseph
Genesis 39:19-23
When his master heard the story his wife
told him, saying, “This is how your slave
treated me,” he burned with anger.
20Joseph’s master took him and put him in
prison, the place where the king’s prisoners
were confined.
But while Joseph was there in the prison,
21the Lord was with him; he showed him
kindness and granted him favor in the eyes
of the prison warden. 22So the warden put
Joseph in charge of all those held in the
prison, and he was made responsible for all
that was done there. 23The warden paid no
attention to anything under Joseph’s care,
because the Lord was with Joseph and gave
him success in whatever he did.
24. Even if all is lost, we have God, who is
more than enough
Jeremiah 29: 10-14
This is what the Lord says: “When seventy
years are completed for Babylon, I will come
to you and fulfill my good promise to bring
you back to this place. 11For I know the plans
I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future. 12Then you will
call on me and come and pray to me, and I
will listen to you. 13You will seek me and find
me when you seek me with all your heart.
14I will be found by you,” declares the Lord,
“and will bring you back from captivity.b I will
gather you from all the nations and places
where I have banished you,” declares the
Lord, “and will bring you back to the place
from which I carried you into exile.”
25. Deuteronomy 31: 6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be
afraid or terrified because of them, for
the LORD your God goes with you; he
will never leave you nor forsake you."
Exodus 14:14
The LORD will fight for you; you need
only to be still."
These verses should always be taken into
context. As we develop a personal
relationship with God, we must be
willing to work hand in hand with, and
obey whenever He prompts us to do
something to fix our situation.
26. Through Abundance and Poverty,
100% Security must be based on an
ABSOLUTE
Money, Abilities and People can fail
you.
I will put my trust in an
unchangeable God.
The more I know about God and His
promises, the more I trust God and
what He says in His word.
Always remember that you also
have to do your part and obey God.
