Virtual Commissioning of Small to Medium Scale Industry Using the Concepts of...IJERA Editor
Small scale industries produce certain products depending on the type of industry they have established. If these small scale industries decide to become medium scale certain changes have to be incorporated in plant layout to meet certain requirements. Certain changes include change in layout design, introducing new machines and equipments in the industry in order to produce new component .To implement these changes in the company we have to get information regarding the new component the company would produce based on this information we have design new plant layout. The purpose of this project is to plan a suitable plant layout which could meet company requirement. To design a new plant layout we are using Delmia as the simulation software. DELMIA Production System Simulation allows the process planner to validate the manufacturing system dynamically. Product flow and operation time, as well as scheduled maintenance and random equipment failure events, are simulated to help the planner understand how they will impact the system’s capacity. Process planners can determine if changes to the system are needed to achieve the desired production demands.
Software is a set of instructions and data structures that enable computer programs to provide desired functions and manipulate information. Software engineering is the systematic development and maintenance of software. It differs from software programming in that engineering involves teams developing complex, long-lasting systems through roles like architect and manager, while programming involves single developers building small, short-term applications. A software development life cycle like waterfall or spiral model provides structure to a project through phases from requirements to maintenance. Rapid application development emphasizes short cycles through business, data, and process modeling to create reusable components and reduce testing time.
The system development life cycle (SDLC) is a conceptual model used in project management that describes the stages involved in an information system development project, from an initial feasibility study, through maintenance of the complete application.
This document discusses cloning an organization to allow testing and manipulation without affecting the original site. It defines cloning as creating an exact copy that can be used for tasks without risk to the original. Types of clones include the frontend design, backend design, and database. Benefits of cloning for software testing are that it is cost-effective, improves security and product quality, and increases customer satisfaction. The document then discusses various software testing types, reverse engineering, and software development life cycles like waterfall, RAD, spiral, V-model, incremental, agile, iterative, big bang and prototype models. The conclusion is that cloning can help test and learn new features without interrupting the original organization's data and business.

It does this by comparing the root node to its children, swapping if needed, and then recursively heapifying the subtree. The complexity of the heapify algorithm is O(log n). Examples are provided of applying the heapify algorithm to transform an example tree into both a min heap and a max heap.
This document provides an overview of HTML tables, including how to define the basic table structure using <table>, <tr>, <th>, and <td> tags. It also describes how to style tables by adding borders, padding, alignment, and captions. Advanced features like colspan, rowspan, and styling individual tables are also covered.
An array is a collection of the same type of data elements that do not change during program execution. Arrays contain a fixed number of elements that each have an index to identify their location. Elements are the individual items stored in the array, while the index is the numerical identifier of each element's position. Arrays can be declared in different languages with a name, type, size, and elements.
This document discusses array element addressing and provides an example. It defines an array with base address 100 and integer data type. It then asks to find the address of element 42 with index 2, and shows the calculation is the base address (100) plus the index (2) multiplied by the data type size (2 bytes for integer), which equals the address 104.
An abstract data type is a combination of data structures and operations defined together in a single syntactic unit. The representation of objects is hidden from other program units, so the only possible operations are those defined in the abstract data type. An example abstract data type could define fields for a student's name, roll number, date of birth, total marks, and division.

INTRODUCTION
Online movie ticket booking system is the process whereby consumer directly
book the ticket online. online movie ticket booking system is the process of
booking ticket frommerchants who sell on internet.
Since the emergence of the World Wide Web, merchants have soughtto sell
their tickets to people who surf the internet. customer can visit web movie
ticket theatre fromthe comfortof their home and book as they sit in front of
the computer. Consumer book a verity of movies and related price from online
movie theatre. In fact, people can booked the movies justabout anything from
the companies that provide their tickets consumer can book from an online
movie theatre.
Many people chooseto conduct book online because of the convenience. For
example, when a person book a ticket through movie theatre, he/she has to
drive to the movie theatre find a parking place, and walk throughoutthe movie
theatre until she locates the theatres he/she needs. Online movie ticket
booking theatre very helpful or useful for the old people.

METHODOLOGY
The methodology that will be used throughoutthe development process will
be variation on the Iterative waterfalllife cycle. The basic idea behind this
metod is to develop a systemthrough repeated cycles (Iterative) and in smaller
portions at a time (incremental), allowing softwaredevelopers to take
advantageof what was learned during development of earlier parts of versions
of the system. Learning comes from both the development and use of the
system, wherepossiblekey steps in the process startwith a simple
implementation of a subsetof the softwarerequirements and iteratively
enhance the evolving versions until the full system is implemented. At each
Iteration, design modifications are made and new functional capabilities are
added. The goal for this initial implementation is to create a productto which
the user can react. It includes such items as new features to be implemented
and areas of redesign of the existing solution. The controllist is constantly
being revised as a result of the analysis phase. The analysis of iteration is based
upon user feedback, and the program analysis facilities available.

FEASIBILITY STUDY
A feasibility study is carried out to select the best system that meets
performancerequirements .The main aim of the feasibility study activity is to
determine whether it would be financially and technically feasible to develop
the product. The feasibility study activity involves the analysis of the problem
and collection of all relevant information relating to the productsuch as the
different data items which would be input to the system, the processing
required to be carried out on these data, the output data required to be
produced by the systemas well as various constraints on the behavior of the
system.
Technical Feasibility:
This is concerned with specifying equipment and softwarethat will successfully
satisfy the user requirements. The technical needs of the system may vary
considerably, butmight include:
The facility to produceoutputs in a given time.
Responsetime under certain conditions.
Ability to process a certain volume of transaction at a particular speed.
Facility to communicate data to distant locations.
In examining technical feasibility, configuration of the system is given more
importance than the actual make of hardware. The configuration should give
the complete picture about the system’s requirements.
How many workstations arerequired, how these units are interconnected so
that they could operate and communicate smoothly?
What speeds of input and output should be achieved at particular quality of
printing.
8. ONLINEMOVIETICKET BOOKING SYSTEM
Economic Feasibility:
Economic analysis is the mostfrequently used technique for evaluating the
effectiveness of a proposed system. Morecommonly known as cost/Benefit
analysis, the procedureis to determine the benefits and savings that are
expected froma proposed system and compare them with costs. If benefits
outweight costs, a decision is taken to design and implement the system.
Otherwise, further justification or alternative in the proposed system will have
to be made if it is to have a chance of being approved. This is an outgoing
effort that improves in accuracy at each phase of the system life cycle.
Operational Feasibility:
This is mainly related to human organizationaland political aspects. The points
to be considered are:
What changes will be broughtwith the system?
What organizationalstructureis disturbed?
What new skills will be required? Do the existing staff members havethese
skills? If not, can they be trained in due courseof time?
This feasibility study is carried out by a small group of people who are familiar
with information systemtechnique and are skilled in system analysis and
design process.
Proposed projects arebeneficial only if they can be turned into information
systemthat will meet the operating requirements of the organization. This test
of feasibility asks if the systemwill work when it is developed and installed.

DESIGN
Softwaredesign is the process of implementing softwaresolution to one or
more seats of problems. Softwaredesign usually involves problem solving and
planning a softwaresolution. This includes both a low-level component and
algorithm design and a high-level, architecture design.
Data Flow Diagram (DFD)
Entity RelationshipDiagram (ERD)
Data flow Diagram (DFD):
A data flow diagram(DFD) is a graphical representation of the “flow” of data
through an information system, modeling its process aspects. A DFD is often
used as a preliminary step to create an overview of the system, which can later
be elaborated. DFDs can also be used for the visualization of data processing
(structured design).A DFD shows whatkind of information will be input to and
output fromthe system, wherethe data will come from and go to, and where
the data will be stored.
Itdoes not show information about the timing of process or information about
whether processes willoperate in sequence or in parallel (which is shown on a
flowchart).

Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD)
An entity-relationship model (ER model) describe inter-related things of
interest in a specific domain of knowledge. An entity relationship diagram
(ERD) shows the relationships of entity sets stored in a database. An entity in
this context is a componentof data. In other words, ERdiagram illustrate the
logical structureof databases. At firstglance an entity relationship diagram
looks very much like a flowchart. Itis the specialized symbols, and the
meanings of those symbols, thatmake it unique.
Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) Symbols:
Entities ,which are represented by rectangles. An entity is an object or
concept which you wantto storeinformation.
Relationship, which are represented by diamond shapes, show how two
entities shareinformation in the database.
A data flow symbolrepresents the data flow occurring between two
processes or between an External entity and a process in the direction of
the data flow arrow.

TESTING
TYPES OF TESTING:
• Unit testing
• Integration testing
• Systemtesting
• Smoketesting
• Regression testing
• Beta testing
• Acceptance testing
1. UNIT TESTING:
Itfocuses on smallest unit of softwaredesign. In this we test an individual unit
or group of inter related units. Itis often done by programmer by using sample
input and observing its corresponding outputs.
2. INTEGRATION TESTING:
Testing is a very important process whichis done before implementationof
any to make an accurate user friendly, clientrequirementsatisfying software.
Testing is a process of executing a program with the aim of finding error. To
make our softwareperformwell it should be error free. If testing is done
18. ONLINEMOVIETICKET BOOKING SYSTEM
successfully itwill removeall the errors from the software. Theobjective is to
take unit tested components and build a program structurethat has been
dictated by design. Integration testing is testing in which a group of
components are combined to produceoutput.
Integration testing is any type of softwaretesting that seeks to verify the
interfaces between components againsta softwaredesign. Software
components may be integrated in an iterative way or all together ("big bang").
Normally the former is considered a better practice since it allows interface
issues to be located more quickly and fixed.
Integration testing works to expose defects in the interfaces and interaction
between integrated components (modules). Progressively larger groups of
tested softwarecomponents corresponding to elements of the architectural
design areintegrated and tested until the softwareworks as a system.[42]
3. SYSTEM TESTING:
Systemtesting of softwareor hardwareis testing conducted on a complete,
integrated systemto evaluate the system's compliancewith its specified
requirements. Systemtesting falls within the scopeof black-boxtesting. and as
such, should require no knowledge of the inner design of the code or logic.
4. SMOKETESTING:
In softwaretesting, smoketesting is preliminary testing to reveal simple
failures severe enough to, for example, reject a prospectivesoftwarerelease.
Smoketests are a subsetof test cases that cover the most important
functionality of a component or system, used to aid assessmentif main
functions of the softwareappear to work correctly. When used to determine if
a computer programshould be subjected to further, more fine-grained testing.
19. ONLINEMOVIETICKET BOOKING SYSTEM
Alternately, it is a set of tests run on each new build of a productto verify that
the build is testable before the build is released into the hands of the test
team.
5. Regressiontesting:
Regression testing is the process of testing changes to computer programs to
make surethat the older programming still works with the new changes.
Regression testing is a normal partof the program developmentprocess and,
in larger companies, is done by code testing specialists. Test department
coders develop code test scenarios and exercises that will test new units of
code after they have been written. These test cases form what becomes the
test bucket. Before a new version of a softwareproductis released, the old
test cases are run againstthe new version to make surethat all the old
capabilities still work. The reason they might not work is because changing or
adding new code to a programcan easily introduce errors into code that is not
intended to be changed.
6. Beta testing:
Beta Testing is one of the Acceptance Testing types, which adds value to the
productas the end-user (intended real user) validates the productfor
functionality, usability, reliability, and compatibility.
Since Beta Testing happens at the end user’s side, it cannotbe the controlled
activity.
20. ONLINEMOVIETICKET BOOKING SYSTEM
7. Acceptance testing:
Acceptance testing, a testing technique performed to determine whether or
not the softwaresystemhas met the requirement specifications. The main
purposeof this test is to evaluate the system's compliancewith the business
requirements and verify if it is has met the required criteria for delivery to end
users.

CODING
Coding is whatmakes it possiblefor us to create computer software, apps and
websites. Your OS, the apps on your phone, and this website- they’re all made
with code. Hyper Text Markup Language(HTML) is the standard markup
language for creating web pages and web applications. With cascading style
sheets (css) it forms a tried of cornerstonetechnology for the world wide web.

Implementation & Maintenance
The Maintenance phaseoccurs once the system is operational. Itincludes
implementation of changes that softwaremightundergo over a period of time,
or implementation of new requirements after the softwareis deployed at the
customer location. The maintenance phasealso includes handling the residual
errors that may exist in the softwareeven after the testing phase. This phase
also monitors systemperformance, rectifies bugs and requested changes are
made. Maintenance, often turned support, is a crucial activity for linking the
experiences of users/customers with the product delivery organization. We
consider perspectives on high tech maintenance from bug fixing through to
design focused activities.basically maintenance is what happens during the rest
of the software’s life:changes, correction, additions, moves to a different
computing platformand more. This ,the last glamorous and perhaps most
important step of all, goes on seemingly forever.

CONCLUSION
Fromthis projectwe had came across many situations wheremany system
defined function. We used had some inherent nature which made debugging
the systemtediously. Somefeatures are implemented there is a scope for
improvement in enhancing the user experience of the softwareand other
features should have to be incorporated as the requirement increases.
