Deep neural network (DNN) has been widely studied due to its high performance and usability for various applications
(universal applications) such as image classification, detection, segmentation, translation, and action recognition. DNN
is adopted for various AI platforms, including edge/mobile devices as well as cloud servers. However, high-
performance DNN requires a large amount of computation and memory access, making it challenging to implement
DNN operation on edge/mobile. There have been several ways to solve these problems, including algorithms as well as
hardware for DNN. Algorithms that help accelerate DNN in hardware enable much more efficient operation of high-
performance AI.

The theory of compressive sensing (compressed sensing, CS) was proposed by Donoho et al. in 2006. The main idea of
compressed sensing is to combine signal sampling and signal compression with the premise that the original signal is
sparse or can be sparsely represented [1]. The sampling of compressed sensing completes the compression by reducing
signal dimensions without the intermediate stage of Nyquist Sampling [2]. Then, the original signal is reconstructed
directly with less sampling number than Nyquist Sampling through the corresponding signal reconstruction algorithms,
which saves transmission and storage costs and reduces computational complexity and energy consumption [1, 3–5].
Because compressed sensing can sample signals with a lower frequency than that required by Shannon–Nyquist
Theorem, compressed sensing improves the compressibility and recoverability for signals [3, 6, 7]. These properties
make CS have a wide range of applications in many fields of signals processing [2, 8]. Some typical CS-based
applications include single-pixel imaging [9–13], recovery of images and video [14], wireless image sensor networks
[15], applications in classification problem [16, 17], and some biomedical signals processing fields [4, 18–21], such as
nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) [22–24] and electrocardiographic (ECG) signals processing [25, 26].

It has been experimentally verified that floating gate techniques can be efficiently employed to increase voltage swing
and reduce supply voltage requirements of class AB regulated cascode current mirrors. As can be noticed from Table II,
the proposed current mirror in Fig. 1(c) allows maintaining a wide current swing (much larger than the bias currents)
and at the same time reducing the required supply voltage significantly. Applications may include current followers for
low-voltage amplifiers and transconductors, and in general current-mode circuits requiring large output resistance.

This paper presents the experimental evaluation of a Differential Pair with Active Loads (DPAL), designed and
fabricated with a 0.5 μm CMOS process, when operated at a bias current of 1 nA and a power supply of 1 V . The
objective is to verify that this circuit can properly perform analog functions while dissipating 1 nW . Therefore,
experimental measurements that demonstrate its functionality, power dissipation and leakage currents are presented; the
results indicate that it is possible to implement extreme low power analog circuits with this process. /also have good

A simple technique to greatly enhance the DC open- loop gain of a Miller op-amp is introduced here. It is based on the
utilization of nested regulated cascode amplifiers. It uses conventional Miller compensation and does not increase the
supply voltage. The proposed scheme has a DC open-loop gain Figure of Merit FoMAOLDC=24,614kV/V.pF.MHz/
μWatt. It is especially appropriate for utilization in modern deep sub-micrometer CMOS technologies with low intrinsic

Deep neural network (DNN) has been widely studied due to its high performance and usability for various applications (universal applications) such as image classification, detection, segmentation, translation, and action recognition. DNN is adopted for various AI platforms, including edge/mobile devices as well as cloud servers. However, high- performance DNN requires a large amount of computation and memory access, making it challenging to implement DNN operation on edge/mobile. There have been several ways to solve these problems, including algorithms as well as hardware for DNN. The main idea of compressed sensing is to combine signal sampling and signal compression with the premise that the original signal is sparse or can be sparsely represented [1]. The sampling of compressed sensing completes the compression by reducing signal dimensions without the intermediate stage of Nyquist Sampling [2]. Then, the original signal is reconstructed directly with less sampling number than Nyquist Sampling through the corresponding signal reconstruction algorithms, which saves transmission and storage costs and reduces computational complexity and energy consumption [1, 3–5]. Because compressed sensing can sample signals with a lower frequency than that required by Shannon–Nyquist Theorem, compressed sensing improves the compressibility and recoverability for signals [3, 6, 7]. These properties make CS have a wide range of applications in many fields of signals processing [2, 8]. Some typical CS-based applications include single-pixel imaging [9–13], recovery of images and video [14], wireless image sensor networks [15], applications in classification problem [16, 17], and some biomedical signals processing fields [4, 18–21], such as nuclear magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) [22–24] and electrocardiographic (ECG) signals processing [25, 26].
