• Climate, weather, and natural resources that affect
human survival and economic activity.
• Laws protecting the natural environment have become
increasingly important as it becomes apparent that
serious anthropogenic global warming is a reality.
• All countries depend heavily on their environment : forest,
grassland, rivers, lakes , coral, reefs and other
ecosystem provide essential resource that provide food
,water and shelter.

characteristics such as magnetic, gravitational, and
electrical properties and forces.

deals with the study of people and their communities,
cultures, economies and interactions with the
environment by studying their relations with and across
space and place.

of physical geography and human geography, the latter
concentrating upon the study of human activities, by the
application of qualitative and quantitative research
methods.

the spatially uneven outcomes of political processes and
the ways in which political processes are themselves
