Objective
There are several different approaches to building a major project. One
such approach is that of construction management. There is some confusion as
to what construction management is and what is involved. Basically
construction management involves some form of professional expertise that is
focused in the specialized areas of cost, estimating, systems analysis and
supervision. Construction management is headed up by the construction
manager (CM). This person is in complete and total control of the entire
project from start to finish. The role of the construction manager may differ
from project to project and it will depend on which construction company
he/she works for.
CPHS offers services for developing feasibility studies, drawing up building
programs, fine-tuning construction documents and coordinating the various
parties involved in the project.
High-performance management and information tools as well as
multidisciplinary teams suited to each market allow CPHS to respond optimally
to customer needs.

Purpose
This document will outline all of the functions, capabilities and requirements
for developing an application for Construction. This document is developed to
know what are the requirements of organization in construction process that
should be taken into consideration while developing the productHigh-
performance management and information tools as well as multidisciplinary

Scope
The main goal of this software is to develop managing details of
different Users. Managing details of different Projects undertaken by a
construction company. Material used, Contractors and Subcontractor,
Vendors, Works or Activities (painting, drilling, building etc), Units
(sq.ft),Employees, Clients of the company and managing different
categories off products.

Literature Survey
Literature survey involves the detail study of existing system and
limitations. To overcome the limitations the requirement is reanalyzed
and the new system is proposed. The new proposed system should provide
more facilities then existing system by residing in same constraints.

Existing System
As per the records there is no such application which provides the
computerized maintenance of products and other related information of
Construction Company. At present, the work done is totally manual and
hence there is a lot of strain on the person who is entering and updating the
data. This project deals with problems on managing and maintaining the
different aspects of the construction and avoids the problem which carried
manually. Identification of drawbacks of the existing system leads to
designing of computerized system that will be compatible to the existing
system which is more user friendly and GUI oriented. We can overcome the
following drawbacks to improve the efficiency of the system.

Merits of the existing system
The records are still accessible if the power cut occurs.
It keeps the hard copy which works as a documentation.
It will not require any skilled people to operate the system.
Drawbacks in Existing System
Lot of manual work increases waiting i.e. requires a lot of time to
accomplish the work.
Not able to access faster.
Requires more man power to be accomplishing a work.
Management of system is not easy.
Secure record of bill generated cannot be stored.
Older records are difficult to monitor and reports are tedious to generate.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS
Proposed System
To overcome the manual work for the existing system we develop
web based application. This application is designed to allow admin who
owns the company, quick and easy means to setup, perform and maintain
project details of clients over the internet. The overall goals are to find,
attract, and win new clients, nurture and retain those the company already
has, entice former clients back into the fold, and reduce the costs of
marketing and client service.
The use of a application system will confer several advantages to a
company:
