Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a branch of
Artificial Intelligence (AI) that enables machines to
understand the human language.
It involves the dealing of lot of unstructured data.
NLP analyzes the grammatical structure of sentences,
and the individual meaning of words, then uses
algorithms to extract the meaning and deliver outputs.
Real world applications and use cases of NLP include
• Voice controlled assistants
• Question answering by customer service chatbots
• Language models which are trained to predict the
next words in a text , based on what has already

Internet of Things(IoT)
Connected devices provide rich
communication and improve safely and
security with rapid emergency event notices
such as an emergency contact point call or
a device trigger.
IoT is currently used in nearly all fields
mainly in smart houses automated cars and
smart cities.
IoT refers to the interconnected
network of physical devices, vehicles,
home appliances, and other items
embedded with electronics, software,
sensors, and connectivity which
enables these objects to collect and
exchange data.

Healthcare:
The use of weareables or sensors connected to
patients , allows doctors to monitor a patient’s
condition outside the hospital and in real-time.
Traffic monitoring:
The IoT can be useful in the management of
vehicular traffic in large cities, contributing to the
concept of smart cities.
Agriculture:
Through the implementation of IoT sensors , a
significant amount of data can be obtained on the
state and stages of the soil.
Fleet management:
The application of the IoT to fleet management
assists with geolocation (and with it the monitoring
of routes and identification of the most efficient
routes)
Water supply:
A sensor , either incorporated or adjusted
externally to water meters , connected to the
internet and accompanied by the necessary
software , helps to collect, process and analyze
data which allows to understand the behavior of
supply service.

Artificial • Artificial intelligence also known as AI is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. • AI has been around for decades but has seen a surge in popularity due to its advances in technology and computing power in the modern era. • AI makes to possible for machines to learn from experience , adjust to new inputs and perform human like tasks. • Through AI, computers harness massive amounts of data and use their learned intelligence to make optimal decisions and discoveries in fractions of the time that it would take humans. 3

It allows a machine to apply knowledge and skills in different contexts.  Eg: Open AI , Tianhe-2 • SuperAI  Super AI surpasses human intelligence and can perform any task better than a human  Some of the critical characteristics of super AI include thinking, solving puzzles, making judgments, and decisions on its own.  .   • 6. Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a branch of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that enables machines to understand the human language. It involves the dealing of lot of unstructured data. NLP analyzes the grammatical structure of sentences, and the individual meaning of words, then uses algorithms to extract the meaning and deliver outputs. Real world applications and use cases of NLP include • Voice controlled assistants • Question answering by customer service chatbots • Language models which are trained to predict the next words in a text , based on what has already been typed. 6

Artificial intelligence is shaping the future of humanity across nearly every industry. 2300 of the total 9130 patents funded and received by IBM are AI-related. Autonomous cars and reusable space rockets. Smart cities with high security systems and advanced transport facilities. Advancedment of AI powered chatbots like chatgpt , wonderAI , etc 7

Challenges of AI  Displacing occupations and increasing unemployment  Ethics and morality  It lacks human emotions  It can make us , human beings lazy and reckless.  It is capable of learning over time with pre-fed data and past experiences, but cannot be creative in it’s approach.  Cost to meet the latest requirements is high.8

Internet of Things(IoT) Connected devices provide rich communication and improve safely and security with rapid emergency event notices such as an emergency contact point call or a device trigger. IoT is currently used in nearly all fields mainly in smart houses automated cars and smart cities. IoT refers to the interconnected network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, and connectivity which enables these objects to collect and exchange data. 9
  • 10. Healthcare: The use of weareables or sensors connected to patients , allows doctors to monitor a patient’s condition outside the hospital and in real-time. Traffic monitoring: The IoT can be useful in the management of vehicular traffic in large cities, contributing to the concept of smart cities. Agriculture: Through the implementation of IoT sensors , a significant amount of data can be obtained on the state and stages of the soil. Fleet management: The application of the IoT to fleet management assists with geolocation (and with it the monitoring of routes and identification of the most efficient routes) Water supply: A sensor , either incorporated or adjusted externally to water meters , connected to the internet and accompanied by the necessary software , helps to collect, process and analyze data which allows to understand the behavior of supply service. 10

IoT will be used to improve customer service, by providing customers with real-time information and control over their products and services. IoT will play a major role in healthcare Availability of healthcare workers and specialists in remote locations , decrease in the cost of treatments Development of automotive industry ,precision farming , agricultural drones. Edge computing will play a larger role 12 Employability rate of IoT developers and researchers in the field of technology

The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) can bring about significant improvements in various industries, leading to increased efficiency and convenience. Here are a few ways in which IoT and AI can be integrated: Smart Homes IoT devices can be integrated with AI algorithms optimize energy consumption and improve security.. Ai algorithms can the data of the patients and provide an accurate and personalized diagnosis recommendations. Ai can be used to monitor the road management systems and provide route maps based on the data given. Predictive maintenance Ai algorithms can be used to analyze the data which is provided/collected by IoT. 13
  • 14. 14 CONCLUSION As the field of Artificial intelligence and internet of things continue to develop , it will have an increasing effect on the way our people deal with the daily matters. We are living in a digitalized world that is full of technological advancements. The future scope of AI and IoT is paving its way to make the world a smarter and a safe place to live in. AI and IoT holds the key to unlocking a magnificient future where , driven by data and computers that understand our world, we will make more informed and correct decisions.
