The Prabhas starrer has an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Plot
Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ aims to bring the stories from Indian epics and tie them together with science fiction. The film is set in the dystopian city of Kasi in 2898 AD, and traces the events that lead to the rise of the superhero Kalki. According to the Hindu scriptures, Kalki is the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu, who appears at the end of the Kali Yuga to end adharma. A modern avatar of the Kalki is set to be unveiled in the upcoming film to to protect the world from evil forces.

Budget
Prabhas starrer ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is said to be the most expensive film ever made in India. There is no doubt that the epic dystopian sci-fi film is mounted on a massive canvas and scale. If reports are to be believed the film is made on a massive budget of Rs 600 crore, making it the most expensive film ever made in Indian cinema.

Advance bookings
The ticket sales have already started and according to a report by Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 50 crore from an estimated 1.3 million tickets sold across multiple languages, including Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada.
