Julia Roberts's family is growing up!
On June 18, the 56-year-old Oscar winner expressed her awe over seeing her youngest, Henry, turn 17 in a sweet post on Instagram.
"Incredible that this baby is now a towering 17 year old wonder!" she wrote in the caption of the post, which featured a throwback photo of her holding Henry as an infant. "Happy Birthday beautiful Henry."
Throughout her public-facing career, Roberts has remained largely private about her family of five, which she began growing nearly two decades ago in 2004. Since welcoming her firstborns, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, with her husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, Roberts has given her fans glimpses of their growing life as they enter adulthood.
During a December 2023 TODAY appearance, the "Mother's Day" actor expressed her appreciation for the bond she's been able to maintain with her children even as they carve out lives outside of her wing.
"I have an immense amount of appreciation for both of my older kids because they still allow me to be the same mom to them, and it’s not eye-rolling, and there’s a huge amount of understanding.”

Hazel Moder and Phinnaeus Moder, 19
Roberts gave birth to twins Hazel Patricia Moder and Phinnaeus Walter Moder on Nov. 28, 2004.
In a 2009 appearance on "Live With Regis and Kelly," Roberts explained that she and her husband had settled on Phinnaeus in order to formalize his nickname.
“My husband wanted to name him Finn, which I quite liked, but it seemed like a nickname,” she explained at the time. “So I said we had to have a proper name, and then we can call him Finn.”
Roberts has previously celebrated the twins by posting throwback photos when their birthday rolls around.
When Hazel and Finn turned 19 in 2023, Roberts posted a sweet photo from when the twins were babies. “19,” she wrote, adding a star and heart emoji. “There are no words for the joy, the fun, the wild rumpus of life together.”
For the twins' 18th birthday in 2022, Roberts posted a similarly endearing baby photo, adding emoji stars to the caption along with, "18. Love you."
In 2021, Roberts posted yet another adorable snapshot of the twins' 17th birthday. This time, she wrote, "17 of the sweetest years of my life," and added multiple cake emojis.
Moder also added a photo of the "rabble rousers" who are "helping him through fatherhood" in honor of their 17th birthday.

Roberts gave birth to her youngest, Henry Daniel Moder, in June 2007.
In honor of Henry's birthday in 2022, his father posted a photo of a shirtless Henry, who is holding a skateboard, wearing a backpack and "hitchhiking" on the highway.
Celebrating the milestone birthday, Moder wrote, "This kid is game ... up for anything ... amazed he is my boy. stoked. 15 today. Love you."
When Henry turned 14, Moder shared a slo-mo skateboarding video to celebrate.
