Generative AI: Redefining Creativity and Transforming Corporate LandscapeOsaka University
The advent of Generative AI is redefining the boundaries of creativity and markedly transforming the corporate landscape. One of the pioneering technologies in this domain is the Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF). Combined with advancements in LLM (Language Model) has emerged as a notable player. LLM offers two primary interpretations: firstly, as a machine capable of generating highly plausible texts in response to specific directives, and secondly, as a multi-lingual knowledge repository that responds to diverse inquiries.
The ramifications of these technologies are widespread, with profound impacts on various industries. They are catalyzing digital transformation within enterprises, driving significant advancements in research and development, especially within the realms of drug discovery and healthcare. In countries like Japan, Generative AI is heralded for its potential to bolster creativity. The value generated by such AI-driven innovations is estimated to be several trillion dollars annually. Intriguingly, about 75% of this value, steered by creative AI applications, is predominantly concentrated within customer operations, marketing and sales, software engineering, and R&D. These applications are pivotal in enhancing customer interactions, generating innovative content for marketing campaigns, and even crafting computer code from natural language prompts. The ripple effect of these innovations is palpable in sectors like banking, high-tech, and life sciences.
However, as with every innovation, there are certain setbacks. For instance, the traditional business model of individualized instruction, as seen in the context of professors teaching basic actions, is on the brink of obsolescence.
Looking ahead, the next five years pose pertinent questions about humanity's role amidst this technological evolution. A salient skillset will encompass the adept utilization of generative AI, paired with the discernment to accept or critique AI-generated outputs. Education, as we know it, will be reimagined. The evaluative focus will transition from verifying a student's independent work to gauging their ability to produce content surpassing their AI tools. Generative AI's disruptive nature will compel us to re-evaluate human value, reshaping the paradigms of corporate management and educational methodologies

2. What is
ChatGPT?
• It is artificial
intelligence and
language
processing model
created by a
company named
openAI.
• It is able to
generate human
like responses
acquired from a
massive network
of information.
Illustration:
Ruby
Chen
3. History
• OpenAI began a
researched laboratory
focusing on Artificial
Intelligence
• Founders Sam Altman
and Elon Musk.
• Its research was
collaborative and began
in 2015
• Primitive and beta
versions include:
• Dall-e
• Microsoft Tay
• Meta BlenderBot 3
• GPT 3
• ChatGPT was introduced
to the world in November
2022
(How It Happened, 2022)
4. How does it work?
• Chat GPT has been trained by
humans as a sort of a behavioral
clone.
• The initial training of ChatGPT
begins with ratings of real human
responses, which are added to a
massive database of statistics
and parameters.
• An algorithm responds by
comparing itself to the trained
data.
• The behavioral database helps
Chat GPT makes decisions like
“Should I respond in this way?”
• The term for this training is
called reinforcement human
learning feedback or RHLF.
• GPT stands for Generative Pre-
trained Transformer
(How It Happened, 2022)
6. ChatGPT’s
Interface
•Enter query or task
in the dialogue box.
•ChatGPT provides
you with examples.
•It can write stories.
•Solve mathematical
problems.
•Detect AI
•Translate languages
•Debug
Programming Code
•And more!
•Corrects grammar
7. Example of
ChatGPT in
use for this
project.
I copied the instructions
for the assignment and
added a bit more
specificity:
*User Entry*
Using PowerPoint or
Google Slides, prepare a
10- to 15-slide
consultant-level quality
final report of your
analysis and findings
regarding chatgpt as an
upcoming trend and its
uses.
8. Result of Query
(For brevity I will provide only the first 3 slides)
Slide 1: Title
• ChatGPT as an Upcoming Trend and
its Uses
Slide 2: Introduction
• ChatGPT, powered by GPT-3.5, is an
advanced language model developed
by OpenAI.
• It has gained widespread attention as
an upcoming trend due to its potential
applications in various domains.
• This report aims to analyze and
present the findings on the uses of
ChatGPT in different industries.
Slide 3: Methodology
• A comprehensive analysis was
conducted to identify the potential
applications of ChatGPT.
• Multiple sources, including industry
reports, case studies, and expert
opinions, were reviewed to gather
insights.
• The findings were analyzed to
identify the key uses of ChatGPT in
different sectors.
(ChatGPT, 2023)
9. How can
ChatGPT be used
for marketing?
• Content creation
• Lead generation
• Search engine optimization
• Optimizing existing content
• Debugging code
• Campaign management
• Creating a Marketing Plan
• Creating a Tactical Plan
• AI generated SWOT analysis
• Writing content and
development
• Keywords, hashtags and
captions
(Methvin, 2023)
10. Data Optimization
• One of the best uses of ChatGPT for marketing purposes is
optimization. With ChatGPT’s commands a marketer can
generate highly specific area. A research task can also be
performed by a simple query. This is highly advantageous and
save precious time.
• Since the results generated is collected from a huge,
(mostly up to date) database, like an encyclopedia, research
time can be cut down to seconds.
• Giving ChatGPT a task like:
Generate hashtags for an Instagram post directed to dog
owners in the middle east aged 25-45 years old with 100,000
-500,000 viewers” will produce the result
• #DogLoversMiddleEast
• #DogOwnersME
• #MiddleEastDogs
• #DogsofMiddleEast
• #DogLifeME
• #DoggyLoveME
• #PetParentsME
• #FurBabiesME
• #DogsOfInstagramME
• #DoggyFunME
• #DoggyAdventuresME
• #DoggyFamilyME
• #DoggyTimeME
• #DoggyCareME
• #DoggyHealthME
• The data is incredibly optimized.
(ChatGPT, 2023)
11. Popularity
• ChatGPT’s was able to
obtain 1 Million followers in
5 days and 100 million more
in 2 months, something that
took Netflix 3.5 years to
accomplish!

experience this
phenomenon. Even
though ethical
concerns have been
raised regarding
artificial intelligence
(like authenticity and
AI domination), still
Microsoft, Meta,
Google and many
other mega
corporations are
looking to reproduce
and innovate this
technology
(Kris, 2023).
