SQL is the lingua franca of data processing and everybody working with data knows SQL. Apache Flink provides SQL support for querying and processing batch and streaming data. Flink’s SQL support powers large-scale production systems at Alibaba, Huawei, and Uber. Based on Flink SQL, these companies have built systems for their internal users as well as publicly offered services for paying customers. In our talk, we will discuss why you should and how you can (not being Alibaba or Uber) leverage the simplicity and power of SQL on Flink. We will start exploring the use cases that Flink SQL was designed for and present real-world problems that it can solve. In particular, you will learn why unified batch and stream processing is important and what it means to run SQL queries on streams of data. After we explored why you should use Flink SQL, we will show how you can leverage its full potential. Since recently, the Flink community is working on a service that integrates a query interface, (external) table catalogs, and result serving functionality for static, appending, and updating result sets. We will discuss the design and feature set of this query service and how it can be used for exploratory batch and streaming queries, ETL pipelines, and live updating query results that serve applications, such as real-time dashboards. The talk concludes with a brief demo of a client running queries against the service.

This time, we're diving into the murky waters of the Fuxnet malware, a brainchild of the illustrious Blackjack hacking group.
Let's set the scene: Moscow, a city unsuspectingly going about its business, unaware that it's about to be the star of Blackjack's latest production. The method? Oh, nothing too fancy, just the classic "let's potentially disable sensor-gateways" move.
In a move of unparalleled transparency, Blackjack decides to broadcast their cyber conquests on ruexfil.com. Because nothing screams "covert operation" like a public display of your hacking prowess, complete with screenshots for the visually inclined.
Ah, but here's where the plot thickens: the initial claim of 2,659 sensor-gateways laid to waste? A slight exaggeration, it seems. The actual tally? A little over 500. It's akin to declaring world domination and then barely managing to annex your backyard.
For Blackjack, ever the dramatists, hint at a sequel, suggesting the JSON files were merely a teaser of the chaos yet to come. Because what's a cyberattack without a hint of sequel bait, teasing audiences with the promise of more digital destruction?
-------
This document presents a comprehensive analysis of the Fuxnet malware, attributed to the Blackjack hacking group, which has reportedly targeted infrastructure. The analysis delves into various aspects of the malware, including its technical specifications, impact on systems, defense mechanisms, propagation methods, targets, and the motivations behind its deployment. By examining these facets, the document aims to provide a detailed overview of Fuxnet's capabilities and its implications for cybersecurity.
The document offers a qualitative summary of the Fuxnet malware, based on the information publicly shared by the attackers and analyzed by cybersecurity experts. This analysis is invaluable for security professionals, IT specialists, and stakeholders in various industries, as it not only sheds light on the technical intricacies of a sophisticated cyber threat but also emphasizes the importance of robust cybersecurity measures in safeguarding critical infrastructure against emerging threats. Through this detailed examination, the document contributes to the broader understanding of cyber warfare tactics and enhances the preparedness of organizations to defend against similar attacks in the future.

AT&T SERVICES INC., San Ramon, CA February 2000 to June 2006
Senior Analyst
Worked with AT&T as a Senior Analyst, on n-tiered ADCIS (Alternate Distribution Channel Information System), a
PowerBuilder application. This system takes care of giving commissions to agents of Pacific Bell for reaching out to the
consumers, business /residential.
ADCIS is responsible for calculating commissions for external companies that sell SBC products and services. The
compensation plans that ADCIS supports are continually changing to address competition and support new product
launches for SBC. ADCIS works on vast permutations and combinations of products coupled with commission rules and
key criteria such as payment type, agent types, date ranges, products, services, rates, territories, order processing rules,
recalculations, cycle times, and recoup of disconnected services.
• Design, development, unit testing, integration testing and implementation of the ADCIS online application
• Database design, GUI Design, developing PowerBuilder and SQL that interface with Oracle 8i database
Page 7of 10
8. RESUME OF: SUKHWANT SINGH PAGE 8 of 10
• Migrated the ADCIS PowerBuilder system from version 6.5 to version 10.5 during 6 years on the system.
• Involved in converting ADCIS PowerBuilder application to JAVA using IBM Web Sphere. This system is called
ADCIS2 where it will use the same database as ADCIS, but will work as a JAVA application. Involved in all
aspects of designing the system. As of 2006, 4 modules had been converted to JAVA from the 10 modules in
Powerbuilder. Using IBM Web sphere as the IDE various JAVA classes are constructed and the system is
designed from base classes and making it as MDI application.
• Worked on Caliber application (JAVA). This application is used in Sales Agency organizations for AT&T to
calculate commissions for external agent sales and residuals. The application has two components, a GUI
interface and a calculator or engine. The GUI interface allows the user to enter business rules, which are evaluated
against service order, residual, and other transactions imported from ADCIS. The calculator or engine evaluates
the business rules to determine how the commissions are to be calculated and performs the calculations. The
Calculated amounts are then returned to ADCIS for payout. Caliber application is deployed on the AT&T Intranet
where it uses JSP’s to help internal managers in tracking and creating new formulas for the next year incentive
calculations.
• Worked on Sales Tracking Analysis Retrieval System (STARS), a PowerBuilder application. Upgraded the
system from Powerbuilder 6.5 to Powerbuilder 10.2. The Powerbuilder code was modified to make it compliant
with the Windows XP certification and remove the system dependency from the Windows registry.
• Worked with Offshore Team in Canada for ADCIS server administration , delegated change requirements.
• Worked on PARM file Project, a PowerBuilder application, where the whole system was upgraded from version
6.5 to version PB 9.2 Changed the way the system communicated to the EDW database with the old ODBC old
drivers in PB 6.5 were not compliant with the new upgraded DB2 and EDW drivers. Upgraded the drivers and the
way the system was communicating with the database so that the system now checks for the right ODBC EDW
drivers.
