Title : OPTIMIZING & PORTING OF ADAS-ALGORITHMS
Modules : Build root system, Yocto project.
Description : Porting a vision algorithm to an embedded automotive system is still very challenging, as
there must be a trade-off between several design requisites.This paper aims to review the requisites and the
different embedded implementation platforms that can be used for Computer Vision-based ADAS, with a
critical analysis and an outlook to future trends.
Title : A Surround View Camera Solution for Embedded Systems
Modules : TVP5158 Analog camera decoder, VIP Port, Device tree blob (dtb)
Description : Automotive surround view camera system is an emerging automotive ADAS (Advanced
Driver Assistance System) technology that assists the driver in BSD and parking the vehicle. Such a system
normally consists of four to six wide-angle (fish-eye lens) cameras mounted around the vehicle, each facing
a different direction. From these camera inputs, a composite bird-eye view of the vehicle is synthesized and
shown to the driver in real-time. In this paper, we present a surround view camera solution that consists of
three key algorithm components: geometric alignment, photometric alignment, and composite view
Synthesis. Our solution produces a seamlessly stitched bird-eye view of the vehicle from four cameras.
Title : Semi-Automatic Data Labelling Tool
Modules : QT-creator.
Description : An advanced and user-friendly tool for fast labelling of moving objects captured in the
Frame. These labels are created at both the pixel level and object level, which makes them suitable to assess
the quality of both moving object detection strategies. The labelling can be performed easily and quickly
thanks to a very friendly graphical user interface that allows one to automatize many common operations.
This interface also includes some semiautomatic advanced tools that simplify the labelling tasks and
drastically reduce the time required to obtain high-quality results.
Academic Projects:
Title : Electromagnetic Power Engine
Duration : 4 months
Description : Electromagnetic Engine which uses magnetic force between two magnets, one is the
electromagnet and other is the permanent magnet .It works on the concept of magnetic attraction and
repulsion between two magnets. The main aim of the project is the zero point fuel consumption. Here
we have introduced a mechanism which has more load caring &running capacity than electrical
vehicles but makes zero emission or pollution.
Title : Life safety by automatic control of A/C and power windows on O2 level in vehicle.
Duration : 4 months
Description : In this project an embedded system monitors the oxygen level inside the cabin of the vehicle
and it automatically controls the Air Conditioning system and power windows of the vehicle if the oxygen
level goes below certain level.
Title : Smart E-system for blind.
Duration : 6 months
Description : This project helps the blind persons to do their test automatically by listening and talking
with the help of Embedded Systems easier than when compared with substitutes who were writing exam for
the blind persons.

VIT UNIVERSITY.
