Description:
Phase 3 of the Smart Metering Programme will operate with the Phase 3 Landis + Gyr meter
set (E470 Electric meter , G370 Gas Meter, Eco Meter P450 In Home Display) and Trilliant Comms
Hub using GPRS to receive and send WAN commands and ZigBee radio for HAN commands. Phase 3
introduces an open standards-based approach to support the functionality of the meters, with
DLMS/COSEM and ZigBee forming part of the chosen standards framework. New Unity Suite™
features to be deployed in support of the Phase 3 Head End requirements and an overview of how
the requirements manifest themselves in the Unity Suite™ AMI platform. It also provides
appropriate details of the head end and overall solution architecture to ensure that Centrica are
satisfied with the technical aspects of the solution.
Responsibilities:
 Developed Test scripts using selenium web driver and Java script for End2End test cases

Centrica are embarking on a process to become the UK market leader in Smart Metering
capabilities and have identified Trilliant as their preferred provider of the Head End solution to
support this goal. Trilliant will be providing their Unity Suite™ AMI platform to ensure this goal is
met. Initially, Centrica will be deploying the head end to operate with the selected Landis + Gyr SMS
meter set. The Phase 2a and 2b L+G meters use SMS to receive and send commands. These
messages will be created by a component of the Trilliant Head End solution, and will be encrypted by
a module provided by L+G that will be incorporated in the logical boundary of the Trilliant solution.
This module is to be provided in the form of a JAR file.
Responsibilities:
 Analysed business requirements and updated software requirement specifications (SRS).
 Following the SPRINT methodology.
 Participated in Review meetings to clarify the doubts and impacts on application for a new
features/change request.
 Review of functional test scenarios & cases.

Application Description:
This is a migration project wherein the shell scripts written in the early phases are modified
depending on the requirements of the migrated issues. The prime intention is to address the
customer reported issues. Shell scripts are written that refers all the files in the production
directory structure using the appropriate environment variable. Appropriate documentation is
maintained for the Shell scripts including entries indicating any changes that were made to the
script. Log file versioning is managed. Shell scripts are defined with necessary environment
variables and not using .cshrc
