It is fully automated and eliminates human labor for management. Oracle also announced a new highly automated cyber security technology that can detect and block attacks in near real-time by working with the autonomous database. Demos showed Oracle autonomous database outperforming Amazon Redshift and Oracle databases on Amazon cloud on real customer workloads, while being significantly less expensive.
