Metraplasa has been doing a great job to specialize the job that should do by the intern

stagnancy of the task that given by the supervisor.
The supervisors should trust the intern to do more various tasks, and give them
opportunity to learn more and do the task that they think more challenging. The
opportunity to giving the intern do more various job is not only benefit to the intern as
they can expand their interest, skill and experience but also will benefit the company
because the company will see the competency from the intern that perhaps company
will need it in the future.
Also, the meeting with the intern should conduct to be more scheduled,
perhaps in once a month or even twice a month. Thus, the intern can share their
experience and also if there is inconvenience, intern can say it to the HR manager
right away. This meeting also can be the facility to know more about the company.
HR staffs also can present the mission and vision of the company to the intern trough
the meeting thus the intern will be more motivated in working together with the
employee in one direction to advancing the company together.
However, the company has been doing great job in establishing the
relationship with the intern by involving them in every event which the company held.
Besides the big event, one of the example is the facilitation such as “Zumba dance”
also available for the intern once a week with the employee. The employee also very
welcome with the new intern thus intern are more comfortable while working in the
office.

5.2 For The University
The internship program that held by President University and organizing by
the ICC (Internship and Career Center) is such a really effective program to prepare
the student on facing the real working environment. However, our expectation when
joining this university is when the internship period we will be fully helped by the
ICC including
However, in my opinion the documents that has been prepared by the ICC is a
little too complicated. Sometimes, the documents that should be filled by the
supervisor is unclear, thus the supervisor will ask me over and over again and it
perhaps made some of the supervisor feel burdened. The ICC can overcome this
problem by providing the documents in bilingual or the supervisor can decide the
document with which language they prefer to. The submission of the document also
becomes complicated because the ICC does not receive the document via online. I
think it will be easier for every parties if the ICC is allowing the submission of the
document by online.
