The Indian logistics industry was valued at an estimated US$ 130 billion in 2012-13.
Holisol Logistics Pvt.Ltd is founded in 2009 and situated in Saket (New Delhi) .
Services : back-end logistics to e-commerce players
Opening two large multi-userfulfilment centers (FCs) in Bangalore and Kolkata, along
with seven smaller centers in other parts of the country
Clients : Biba, Amway, Firstcry, Tupparware etc.
Competitors : Delhivery, OM Logistics, Aegis Logistics etc.

Project Methodology

 Inputs from logistic, operation department at Holisol Logistics
These inputs were basically from procurement, logistic department in
which there was study of different operational tool and techniques like
5S, Kaizen and communication with the suppliers.
 Company records and literature
Company records and literature were used to understand basic
concepts of operational logistics.
 Research instrument
There was no research instrument used in this project.
 Data collection method
In this project, primary data and secondary data collection was used.
Primary data collection was from the logistics and other department.
Secondary data collection was from different website sources which
are enlisted in the references column.

Problem Solving and Solutions

 The company is working on new software
development which includes both process
together, payment plus taxes.
 The upcoming software would also solve the
issue of inventory making it real-time accessible.
 There should be seating arrangement for
employees. As we know, good healthy
environment would result in satisfied employees
leading to optimization of the process.
