Rick Svatora has over 25 years of experience in government and policy roles in Texas and at the federal level. He currently serves as the Assistant Director of Fiscal Policy at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, where he oversees $1.3 billion in higher education funding and acts as a liaison between higher education institutions and state government. Previously he held communications roles for a Texas State Senator and the Texas Veterans Commission, and has managed legislative staff and policy work for other political campaigns and offices. Svatora also has a background in research, public policy analysis, and strategic communications through his own consulting firm and past roles. He holds a MA in International Policy Studies and a BA in Government.
Dexter M. Wimbish is an experienced diversity management expert, attorney, and compliance professional with over 15 years of experience promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
