1) The document discusses energy savings opportunities for two ships, Diamond and Sapphire, through optimizing diesel generator use while in port.
2) Currently both ships rely heavily on gas turbines while in port due to high load requirements, resulting in high fuel costs. Replacing the current generators with a single larger generator could allow more optimal efficiency.
3) Analysis of fuel plans and consumption logs for the two ships over time show potential savings of $1.2-1.3 million annually by changing to a larger generator like the 16V31DF for port operations.

for example you can see that atomic radius decreases as electrons increase that is because the electrical force increases between nuclear and electrons . . however for the same group radius increases as electron increases.
Atomic volume however has a minimum value for each period, you can see this clear starting from period 3.
Melting point and boiling points are reversely proportional with atomic volume.
Very amazing what Internet + Excel can make :)).

2) Conversion tables for common units of length, area, volume, weight, pressure, torque, power, energy, velocity, and temperature.
3) Specifications for the start switch including maximum current and wire specifications.
4) Specifications for the battery disconnector switch including operating voltage.
5) Tightening torques for mounting screws and other components along with standard tightening torques for various screw sizes.
This document contains results from tests on multiple sections of pipe. It includes the flow rate, pressure drop, velocity, and other parameters for each section over a range of flow rates. Parameters like head loss and pressure drop across valves, elbows, and other accessories are reported. The sections tested include straight pipes, elbows, a globe valve, and a gate valve.
Just like harmonization of 1800 MHz band increased the quantum of spectrum by 10 times, harmonizing 900 MHz will get us similar results. It will increase the availability of spectrum by 12.5 times and will bring Rs 30,000 Cr to the government in revenues.
The document contains two tables providing future value interest factors for one dollar and one dollar annuities compounded at various interest rates over different periods of time. Table A-1 shows the future value of $1 invested at rates from 1% to 30% over periods from 1 to 30 years. Table A-2 shows the future value of a $1 annuity invested at the same rates and periods. The tables allow users to determine the future values of single investments and annuities based on the interest rate and time period.
The document contains two tables providing future value interest factors for present values compounded over time at given interest rates. Table A-1 gives the future value of $1 invested for a given number of periods at rates from 1% to 30%. Table A-2 gives the future value of a $1 annuity invested over the same periods and rates. Both tables allow users to determine the future value of investments based on the interest rate and length of time compounded.

2. Current Problem
• High port load
• In port average load = 11MW
• 9L46C max load = 9.54 MW
• 8L46C max load = 8.40 MW
• Low total DG output – requires GT operation (MGO)
• 4x DG capable of only ~17kn
• On average 30% of time underway spent running GT for DI & SA

20. DG Specifications
• 12V46F
• 173 Tons
• 16V46F
• 233 Tons
• 16V31DF (x2)
• 85 Tons
• New benchmark in efficiency and overall emissions performance

Editor's Notes
High Port Load:
In port requires 9750 and 11700 kW and we currently use 2x 8LW46
An option to save money in port would be to use a larger DG which can perform at a more optimal efficiency which can save a large amount.
Low DG Output
30% of underway is spent above 17 knots which is higher than what our current engines can run at so we run the GT a fairly significant amount
I adjusted the fuel curves to better reflect the given loads. Originally the data was graphed as a line graph but I changed it to a scatter plot to better see a relationship between Load and SFOC
Substitute 8L with Larger Engine – more efficient
