9. PwC Canada has HR offices across 14 cities which manage documentation related to
corporate procedures, job descriptions, and personnel files for approximately 6,000 active
employees. On an ongoing basis, there are approximately 1,500 new employee records created and
approximately 1,200 employees that become inactive. At present theses files exist in multiple
locations across the country. PwC has therefore embarked on an initiative of HC Transformation to
implement a unified document management process for HR operations that will integrate and
streamline existing processes into a centralized, online system.
This new system (HCDMS) will:
• Consolidate and centralize personnel files, job descriptions, policies, processes and
procedures.
• e-tize HR documentation, and
• Streamline HR processes and events to allow for better management of files and increased

Project # 13: Remote Account Opening

Description:
The project RAO initiates a new Account opening process on behalf of the new to Bank
Customers and integrated with Content Management tool Documentum. When the customer
clicks submit button after completing the form all the details related to the customer will be
captured in an xml file and a tiff file will be generated by the .NET application. Here the client-
servlet communication is used to move all the account opening application from the client
machine to the APP. server. Once all the applications are moved to Application server, using the
Documentum applications they are uploaded to the Docbase. The xml and tiff files are saved in
the repository with the respective object types.
When the xml file is uploaded to the docbase a Lifecycle is set to all the xml files.
When the tiff files are uploaded all the permission sets and ACL’s are applied to it and also the
respective workflow will be started depending on the object type.
Different workflows will be started depending on the form submitted by the customer like
Existing Customer or New to Bank or Applied for Credit Card or applied for Salary Credit etc.
The same above process will be used to upload the supporting documents the .NET
generated tiff and xml files will be scanned through Captive Input Accel.
Responsibilities:
Installed and configured Content Server on the SQL Server instance running on windows
machine.
Installed WebTop with Tomcat server and configured to get the usable Documentum
functionality.
Created Meta Data definition fields need to be filled in while uploading a document into the
Content Management system.
Responsible for customizing WDK JSP pages using Java, WDK API and XML according to the
business user requirements.
Involved in customizing the search and advanced search criteria based on Meta definition
and Text.
Involved in Users, ACL’s, and Alias Sets creation.
Responsible for designing, developing and implementing Workflow Template using Workflow
Manager as per Business Requirements.
Responsible for developing and customizing server side methods to support workflows and
jobs.
Creating Custom Object Types using Application Builder as per the client’s requirement.
Involved in development of WDK, DFC components that interacted with Documentum and
performed the required operations.
Involved in testing of different components.

Reliance Life Insurance is designed for the reliance company to recruit the employees at
various branches and provide all the resources for the employee after the employee was recruit.
This process is completely based on the BPM(Business Process Manager) BPS(Business Process
Services)Inbound/Outbound services .we used forms builder to design the forms .The forms is
accessed by the user based on different roles and categories, different pages can be accessed by
the different users in the company. We generated the reports based on category.
