Stick It To The Stick Man is a free action game that was created by the indie developer, Call Of The Void for desktop. This side-scrolling game sees the appearance of the now-ubiquitous stickman action character. Gameplay centers around brawler-style fights and physics-based mechanics have also been added to great effect.

Just like Stick Fight: The Game, Stick It To The Stick Man has the same kind of gameplay to it. What makes it stand out, though, is the surprising level of polish that it brings to the table. Details are sharper, movements are smoother, and its overall combat is highly responsive and just flows.

Is Stick It To The Stick Man any good?

The short answer is yes. Stick It To The Stick Man will feel familiar if you've played any kind of stickman action game before. The story revolves around a down-and-out office worker needing his job back. It won't be a cakewalk, though, as there will be obstacles in the way. Do what you have to do and fight to regain your place on the corporate ladder again.

Melee combat is comprised of various attack moves—including helicopter kicks, headbutts, and spinning punches. You also get all manner of weapons to play around with, such as a chainsaw, machine guns, and even ninja stars. You can celebrate a kickass good time with a round of coffee—with explosive results. The game can be pretty silly with its premise, too.

What's more, this game has even included rogue-lite elements into its gameplay to spice things up. As you proceed to you punch, kick, shoot through a bunch of enemies, you'll get to unlock new and more powerful abilities to wreak even more havoc with. When it comes to the negatives, however, the game's performance needs the most attention and work. Things tend to slow down and cause lag when a lot of enemies are flying around on the screen.

Stick It To The Stick Man is just a joy to play from start to finish. It takes the tried-and-tested stickman action formula and improves upon just about everything. It's a refined, polished, and accessible game when you have some time to spare and you want to have some mindless fun. This is a highly recommended and fun game.
