You will be journeying across a dystopian Taopunk world by combining cyberpunk and Taoist Eastern mythology elements. Combat revolves around the use of magical talismans to slash and charge toward enemies. You can also take advantage of a deflection system that lets you perform carefully timed parries. Have your enemies fumble and set them up for counters that deal massive amounts of damage while receiving none for yourself.

You will be meeting various side characters to interact with throughout your adventure. They will be able to help you gain upgrades and new abilities and even discover technology to use for the fight. In terms of graphics, the game features meticulous hand-drawn animations seamlessly blended with Japanese manga-inspired cutscenes.
