Math-based education software

Mathletics is an education and reference tool developed by 3P Learning. The program is part of a learning suite for online education. Mathletics can make teaching and training plans for Math easy-to-understand and comprehensive, as activities are aligned to curricula around the world. You can filter your search by country, state, region, and province, and you can select from over 700 problem-solving and reasoning activities and integrate them into the lesson plan. Lessons have been "gamified" and have other motivation pedagogies. Students can be given points, customizable avatars, and certificates—giving them a sense of achievement and momentum.

Personable learning experience

Mathletics offers an interactive e-learning resource for schools, parents, and children. They credit the layout and function of their website to the Web 2.0 format. This is seen in the users’ ability to easily access the user-content creation and editing tools. It is not necessary to have knowledge of HTML programming language to use these tools. You can easily edit and personalize your profile, as well as organize online competitions on the program.

Mathletics’ dynamic and relevant topics can help students of all levels. From early learners to secondary students, each student can benefit from Mathletics. Primary students are founded on visual learning. Through an array of colors and cartoons, students under 12 years old can be captivated by the animations of the tutorials and other forms of resources. On top of the lessons, the students receive mathematical tips for common math questions.

Secondary students are catered to students who are in need of a study-based interface. The Secondary area of Mathletics encourages students through progress or the Traffic Light system. The colors represent a student’s understanding of a topic. The color-based identifiable sections are red, orange, and green. Red represents less than 50% of correct marks while green is more than 85% of correct marks.

Interactive class learning

Students can participate in mathematics competitions. These are real-time live networking events where students must complete as many additions, subtraction, and multiplication problems as possible in one minute. Students can select the difficulty level they want to compete in. The scale of difficulty ranges from one to ten—one is the easiest and ten being the hardest. The higher the level, the more complex the question. The student who answered the most number of questions correctly will receive five credits, and all users who beat their previous score receive ten credits.

Students are aware of who they are playing with, as there is a live feed of other students in their class who is currently participating in their class. Each participant can directly request or challenge their classmate to Live Mathletics. If you challenge a classmate that is currently offline, he or she will be replaced with a bot that emulates the classmates' average game completion speed.

Knowledge sustaining platform

Mathletics delivers superb positive reinforcement to students. This education software is an intuitive and engaging resource for math and parents can use it to improve a student’s skills, knowledge, and ability in the subject. The curriculum primarily focuses on skills and speed, but it can possibly help a young student develop a deeper and broader understanding of Mathematics. Overall, Mathletics is a helpful supplementary tool that can be used in the classroom or at home to help students appreciate and enjoy Mathematics.
