Last week was Google I/O 2023, Google‘s annual conference for developers where the company presents many of its upcoming products and services. Among the new products announced at its Keynote were the highly anticipated Pixel Fold, which can be pre-ordered in some regions for $1,800; AI integrations in Google Workspace; and new features for Google Search that make use of AI.

Bard ACCESS

In addition, another big announcement made at Google I/O 2023 was that Bard, the AI with which Google wants to compete against the popular ChatGPT, leaves behind its testing phase and launches in more than 180 countries. The big “but” of this good news is that neither Spain nor other European countries are on this list (the GDPR may have a lot to do with this). Even so, it is quite easy to bypass this limitation and use Google Bard in Spain.

To do this, you have two options: on the one hand, you can use a VPN such as NordVPN, which will allow you to use your device in Spain as if you were in another country (bypassing regional limitations and blocks). On the other hand, you can use the Opera browser, which includes a VPN as standard.

NordVPN DOWNLOAD

Whatever your choice (if you use Opera, you must configure the VPN connection), you will have to go to the Bard website and sign in with your Google account. After registering via the “Sign In” button, you will receive an email with instructions on how to use the AI. After reading and accepting the terms of use, click on “Try Bard” to start using Google’s artificial intelligence.

Opera DOWNLOAD

If you have already tried ChatGPT, the operation of Bard is practically the same, so you will have no problems using it. Will it be released soon in Spain?
