Use AI to resolve conflict

- Conflict at work. I know, it's no fun, but it's inevitable at some point. So what can you do as a manager to manage conflict? First, get ahead of it. Ask ChatGPT to role play a conflict you might experience. I'll use an example of being an IT support desk manager. I asked a prompt of, "Can you role play a conflict I might experience as a manager of an IT support desk team?" Insert your specific team and it'll give you a scenario, including the background and what can happen. It can give you a script of how to handle it, but conversations are one thing and action is another. So follow up with, "Okay, now create a plan I can use to follow up with action after the meeting." You're not just getting ideas of what to say, but what to actually do. And that's a key aspect of leadership.
