Description
Seeking an ambitious and hands-on Social Media Coordinator to run accounts for our various publications across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Twitter. The ideal candidate is an organized yet creative individual who can not only translate the magazine’s print content into engaging digital content, but also ideate and develop content for our digital channels alone.
Responsibilities
Develop and follow social editorial calendars
Write engaging captions based off of the magazine’s print content
Stay up-to-date on social media trends and software updates
Set goals regarding growth in followers, engagement, and magazine sales via social media channels
Provide regular analytics and room for improvements across social media channels
Ideate around ways to amplify existing magazine content across social channels for more visibility and a larger overall impact/audience
Learn to run low-level paid campaigns on social media channels for our advertisers (as well as advertising the magazine itself). This does not need to be a pre existing skill set for candidates
Qualifications
1-2 years of professional social media experience
Extremely strong English writing skills
The ability to organize and manage a social media calendar across various channels
An interest and knowledge of fashion and pop culture
