Manufacturing Transformation Senior Director

Overview Supply Chain & Operations vertical plays a critical role in accelerating PepsiCo’s sustainable growth by driving strategic choices, delivering breakthrough enterprise capabilities, optimizing service delivery excellence and executing end-to-end transformations. Supply Chain & Operations in S&T is central to business transformation, enabling the organization to be more efficient, digital, innovative, and sustainable. Job purpose: Manage, maintain, and optimize the technology infrastructure and software systems to ensure operations run effectively and efficiently. Assess and address IT / OT obsolescence. Develop roadmap to bring OT infrastructure to current globally. Create “forever-green” OT strategy. Engage with multiple external solution providers, peer companies and Sector Manufacturing Operations teams to derive and implement automation that unlocks manufacturing capacity Responsibilities Evaluate control and information control & information systems (C&IS) maturity across sector sites through a C&IS assessment Design and implement robust, scalable IOT connectivity solutions Monitor performance and work to identify resolutions Develop "CLC - Close Loop Control" projects to reduce manual interventions Assess and address IT / OT obsolescence Collaborate across sector manufacturing to assess digital readiness (define process and validate) Deploy Smart Manufacturing strategy focused on the core capabilities, OT/IT Readiness features and program evolution Evolve OT Assessment including processing and packaging instrumental and key components in order to have a better approach of investment required for OT/IT readiness capex Own decisions on: Infrastructure and integration of IT systems for smart manufacturing Assessment of digital readiness Manufacturing Plants IT/OT Strategy, globally Influence decisions on: Deployment of smart manufacturing strategy Implementation of technology Comprehensive Mfg Roadmap for Smart Manufacturing / Digital Mfg capabilities Leadership Skills: Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a complex, matrix, and ambiguous environment Clarity: Simplifying complexity, communicating in a clear and concise manner Results: Balancing sense of urgency with the need to deliver quality results, demonstrating perseverance in achieving complex or ambiguous goals (e.g. self management skills) Collaboration/Stakeholder Engagement: Working across boundaries and creating trusting relationships, demonstrating active listening skills External Perspectives / Business Acumen: Understanding market, consumers and customers, external environment and industry and using this information to drive decisions and actions Professional Skills and Function / Domain Specific Skills: Organizational awareness, understanding of PEP Manufacturing infrastructure Automation, Engineering and Smart Manufacturing expertise Global transformation mindset and experience providing strategic guidance and accountability to develop and execute large scale transformations Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $146,100 - $289,900 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 30% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • and an additional target payout of 15% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
  • Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Extensive experience with manufacturing automation systems, equipment and technologies is crucial Experience with a demonstrable record of delivering impactful results within large and complex organizations through design and transformation Knowledge of automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies Proven track record of leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives within Supply Chain & Manufacturing, demonstrating the ability to drive change and innovation Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, as well as experience in managing and developing talent Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership Global Perspective: Understanding of global market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances, with experience in managing Fleet designs across multiple regions or countries
