The role?


The Director of Marketing & Community at Nēmah will oversee the entire marketing department, driving growth through strategic program development, with an emphasis in community, affiliate, and influencer marketing channels. This role requires a dynamic leader who can conceptualize and execute marketing strategies that align with our brand values and business objectives. We need a team leader who’s both creative and business-minded, who is passionate about culture and trends, thinks out of the box, and can help us build cultural relevance for the Nēmah brand. Your work will be critical to Nēmah’s continued growth, from our performance marketing to supporting our plans for expansion into retail, all while helping build Nēmah into one of the most respected and successful brands in family skincare. Our ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, deeply desires to build community, is on the pulse of social trends, understands the creator economy, and is driven first by data and results. You would Inspire the team, providing creative inspiration & vision, insights, and context to help shape bigger ideas and rethink how we execute these programs to reach goals.


Base Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000 (the actual compensation will depend on work experience and skill level)


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive customer acquisition.
  • Oversee Nēmah’s community & affiliate marketing programs, developing a clear strategy to reach new audiences and drive efficient customer growth.
  • Oversee and expand influencer partnerships, integrating these with broader marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with internal team and external partners to develop and deploy marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and drive engagement.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources that are aligned with core values and optimized for maximum impact.
  • Identify and execute partnership opportunities with synergistic brands to broaden our reach with similar target audiences
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative teams to develop engaging and culturally relevant social media & paid campaigns, including sourcing of UGC/creator content
  • Manage influencer content by ensuring the content created meets the brand's standards and guidelines
  • Maintain a pulse on culture and trends to identify emerging influencers and content creators, and ensure our content is resonant with our target audience
  • Report on program performance with actionable insights, overseeing data tracking, insights, analytics platforms, and competitive landscape to continuously refine and improve strategies on a weekly, monthly, & quarterly basis


Requirements

  • At least 5+ years experience in Omnichannel marketing strategy & execution for a brand; experience in Beauty, DTC/CPG, & Community Marketing a plus 
  • A strong and proven track record in building community campaigns and programs
  • Experience leveraging affiliate marketing to drive customer acquisition 
  • This role is “part art and part science” – requiring strong analytical skills and business sense, combined with the creativity and intuition required to produce disruptive campaigns and content
  • Strong comprehension of performance KPIs and the ability to leverage data to assess the impact of your programs and pull out actionable insights
  • Exceptional leadership skills with proven experience managing, inspiring, and leading a team
  • Must be proactive, accountable, collaborative, flexible, and welcome change
