University Cancer and Blood Center is looking to hire a Full-Time Compliance and Quality Care Specialist. Hours are Monday-Friday 8-5
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
MIPS Tracking/ Training
Depression screening tracking
Staging report and tracking
Monitoring no-show/ late appt live well
EOM
Screening day
Entering in providers
Visit note status
SMG- patient satisfaction surveys
Insurance contracts
FPPE @ the hospital
Maintain effectiveness of the Compliance Program
Serve as a corporate resource for healthcare compliance matters, including Medicare reimbursement information, and coding/billing matters, as well as HIPAA and OSHA.
Evaluate, develop, and modify policies and procedures to conform to relevant state, federal, regulatory, and/or industry standards and requirements.
Develop and provide education and training for providers and employees on the Compliance Program and ensure employees are knowledgeable of relevant regulations and policies.
Manage investigative and audit processes to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations.
Serve as HIPAA/Privacy specialists
Qualifications:
Degree in Public Health or Healthcare Administration
3-year Healthcare experience preferred
Positive attitude is a must
Ability to work independently and as a team
