Overview

The Brand Marketing Associate is responsible for the trade marketing plan, execution, and optimization specifically focused on the Home channel for Lavazza (CAN) and Kicking Horse (US). They are also directly responsible for budget management related to the Yearly Activation Plan and vendor management that falls within this scope. Finally, they are responsible for the coordination, planning and maintenance of channel tradeshow activities and all other sales support related to the Home (Retail, eComm & eRetail) sales teams.

Location: Hybrid to New York City or West Chester, Pa.

Responsibilities

  • Consistent with category guidelines, develop the National Yearly Activation Plan (and customize for select key accounts), in terms of portfolio priorities, promotional activations, merchandising standards, and point of sale.
  • Brief and manage vendor roster that will deliver the most effective programs against business goals.
  • Support sales, main distributors, and customers in their activation requests (activation material, sell stories, selling assets, etc.)
  • Work with the Global Headquarters team to setup eRetailing activation strategy specifically the definition of guidelines and plan execution.
  • Guide the retail channel Trade Show Activation. Set up the Trade Show yearly plan strategy, collect details and needs from sales, establish activation guidelines, create GANTT (project timeline), and oversee yearly Trade Show execution plan.
  • Manage the Retail Marketing budget, setting up budget plan by channel, shopper marketing activation by customer, and ad fee investment. Additionally, set promotional guideline execution with commercial strategy and finance.
  • Be directly responsible for control over Retail Marketing Budget and ad fee investment for Lavazza in USA: routinely forecast, monitor, track and mitigate variations over the year.
  • Evaluate activation ROIs and share learnings, best practices & competitive activities within North American market.


Professional Qualifications

  • 4 year degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of trade marketing, shopper marketing experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in PPT, Excel
  • Self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills


Physical/Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel as needed up to 40% of time
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
