Accounting Manager

IDIS Americas, Inc., headquartered in Coppell, TX, designs, develops, manufactures and distributes a full range of products for the video surveillance and machine vision markets generating approximately $60M in annual revenue. IDIS Americas, Inc. consists of 3 Business Divisions: Security, Traffic Monitoring (CostarHD) and Mobile (Transit) Surveillance.

The Accounting Manager supports the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing all finance, accounting and reporting activities. This role commands experience managing internal controls and data integrity. Communication and accountability are essential to the success of the Accounting Manager.

Accounting Manager Role:

• Oversee daily accounting operations
• Supervise and mentor accounting team
• Compose and review journal entries
• Prepare and review month-end balance sheet account reconciliations
• Oversight of month and year-end closings of general ledger activity
• Prepare and present financial results and statements
• Perform variance analysis
• Manage relationships with external auditors and tax accountants
• Participate in financial planning and analysis process, including forecasting and budgeting
• Ad-hoc reporting and project oversight
  
  

Accounting Manager Profile:

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Public accounting experience and CPA/Chartered Accountant designation highly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Keen analytic, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
• NetSuite and manufacturing industry experience a plus
• Fluent in Korean a plus
• Knowledge of IFRS a plus

• Accounting: 5+ years preferred
  
  

Education Requirements:
