Help us welcome the newest members of the M. Shapiro Real Estate Team! Kim Kobish has joined our Operations team as our newest Field Manager. She brings over 12 years of manufactured housing management experience to the team. Kim has worked in multiple different positions to include Community Manager and Regional Manager. Her experience is going to bring immediate impact to our entire team.     Kim enjoys the outdoors and loves camping with her family. She also enjoys spending time in her garden. Michelle Mandia has joined our growing Onboarding and Compliance team. Michelle brings over 9 years of residential real estate experience and a degree in accounting from Florida State University.  Her attention to detail, problem solving skills, and communication skills are going to be great assets to the team. This week we are excited to welcome two new team members to our growing team. Luke Colecchio has joined the team as our new training and development manager. He brings several years of property management experience with a background in training management. Luke has worked in a handful of roles within property management, providing a strong background to build our Training & Development Team. His understanding of the multi-family dynamics will be vital in our mission ahead. Luke enjoys spending time with his family, including his dog, Vito. His hobbies include running, being on the water, and traveling. Catherine Verive brings over 30 years of accounting experience spanning multiple business sectors. Her last four years were spent in Property Management right in the Metro Detroit region. Her experience will bring an immediate impact to our accounting team.   Cathy enjoys spending time with her two adult daughters. The oldest is ready to begin her career as an Optometrist in western Michigan and the youngest is blessed with Special needs.  Her family loves educating people on wonderful world of Down syndrome.    In her down time, she also enjoys reading, crocheting, and watching known classic Hollywood movies. We are excited to share that Amy Rodriguez has been appointed our Resident Relations Manager. Amy will continue to lead our focused effort on all renewal initiatives throughout our Multi-Family Portfolio.    Her expertise, enthusiasm, and previous success has already impacted our organization.   Congratulations, Amy! We are excited to see the new heights you achieve. 

This week we welcomed our newest team members, Tim Osullivan and Syed Hussain. Tim has joined the team as our Facilities Maintenance Manager and Syed has joined the accounting team as our newest Property Accountant. Tim has over 25 years’ experience in manufactured housing operations and facility maintenance. He has worked in multiple different roles including community manager and regional manager. Tim has also worked several years in agricultural property management where he operated wetland mitigation banks in southern Florida. Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and three grandchildren. His favorite times are fishing and camping with his family. Syed brings over seven years of accounting experience to the team. He holds a bachelors degree in accounting and is currently pursuing his masters at Walsh college. Syed is a world traveler. He has visited over 20 countries and adding more soon. One of his favorite places still remains Dubia, where he spent many years. When he is not traveling, he enjoys Kayaking, fishing, and being outdoors. On behalf of the entire M. Shapiro Real Estate family, congratulations and warmest welcome! Residence of The Timbers, in North Carolina celebrated Easter this week with a visit from the Easter Bunny, and Easter egg hunt, and refreshments. The turnout was great and all of the families were able to enjoy the afternoon. Events like these could not happen without the support of amazing teammates. Great job Lori!

Brittany Chapman, from Thunderbird MHC in Springfield MI, and Terry Smith, from Meadows in Charlotte MI, were recognized this week for their outstanding contributions to the team.   Both Brittany and Terry have stepped up and assisted in helping train new team members while continuing to handle their responsibilities at a high level. Last week we welcomed our newest team member, Kristin Raymond. Kristin has joined the team as our newest Sales Manager.   Kristin comes to us with over a 10 years of experience in manufactured housing. Kristin brings a background in Sales and Marketing where she has been successful in driving revenue growth and building strategic partners. Her understanding of market dynamics and customer’s needs are going to be a huge asset as she develops sales strategies. Kristin is inspired by her husband and three children, who she loves spending time with. Kristin also enjoys traveling and playing golf in her free time. On behalf of the entire M. This week we welcomed our newest team member, Michael (Mike) Sarisky. Mike is our newest Regional Manager and will be based out of Florida.   Mike Comes to us with over a decade of experience in property management. Mikes experience spans from MH, multifamily, and commercial properties. Mike believes in building a strong cohesive team by collaboration, accountability, and compliance. His ability to build and grow his team led to him winning the “Top Gun Award” while at Lynd Company. This award is presented to the top Regional Manager in the company. Prior to starting a career in Property Management, Mike served in the United States Army for over 18 years. He served in multiple positions and locations including tours to Germany, Korea, and the Middle East. Mike was awarded the Bronze Star and Meritorious Service Medal for his service.    On behalf of the entire M. Residence from Robin Hood MHC in El Paso, TX came together to celebrate Valentines Day with music and dancing. A great time was had by all who attended. We are looking forward to seeing the next event hosted by Lorraine and the team.
