Summer has finally come to London! We’ve waited long enough, and today Aldgate Square was packed with people making the most of their lunch breaks in the 28 degree sunshine ☀️ I find that when the weather improves so does my ability for creativity and new ideas, and it definitely increases morale across the office! A few things we do at Mantell Associates to keep up company morale during the summer months: 1. Extended lunch breaks 🧘🏻♀️ - we have longer lunch breaks to allow time for exercise. This is offered year-round, but particularly good for morale in the summer when people have time to enjoy the weather as well! 2. Team events outside of the office 🥂 - on top of our monthly office drinks at different pubs (outdoors of course!) and lunch clubs, this Friday we have our Summer Party which is the perfect chance for the whole UK team to celebrate together. 3. Summer dress code 🕶️ - we always have dress down Fridays, but on hot summer days our usual dress code is replaced with shorts and more comfortable clothing. 4. Work from home 🪴 - allowing the team to work remotely, especially during the summer, means people can work outside and enjoy their local outdoors for longer! 5. Work abroad ✈️ - on top of birthday leave, extra days off at Christmas and the chance to accrue additional annual leave with each year at MA, we allow people to work abroad so you can enjoy your summer from wherever you like.
