‘Tis the season, friends! As Pride Month rolls on, we’re raising our flags in salute of the LGBTQ+ community’s latest accomplishments on TV — and what a big year it’s been on the small screen.

From emotional coming-out stories on shows like ABC’s 9-1-1 and NBC’s Quantum Leap to unforgettable performances on favorites like Disney+’s Doctor Who and Netflix’s Dead Boy Detectives, there were so many incredible wins to choose from.

Beyond scripted shows, we’re also tipping our hat to some of reality TV’s biggest LGBTQ+ victories — from Gottmik’s powerful, trans-affirming runway look on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars to the first non-binary winner of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Read on for 27 of our favorite LGBTQ+ TV wins from the past year (arranged alphabetically by series), then drop a comment with your own additions to the list. Which shows, characters and moments are you celebrating?
